Teams are obviously gonna be going at it all season. And thats one player the blazers cant lose. Im wondering if there is some kind of brace they can have him wear? I mean i would give the blazers the benefit of the doubt that they thought of this but giving our current center situation, I dont think they plan ahead well. :sigh:

All jokes aside though.... Batum's shoulder is not holding up over 82 games. I hope they have a plan. there are some dirty players in this league. Nic shoulder has a major fucking bullseye on it.

Neck-o-loose Batum... a man barely alive. We can rebuild him. Make him stronger, faster, better than he was.

ok regardless if it was his neck or not.... read my original post in this thread. its a concern.

You are right to be concerned about your original post. It's poorly constructed.

How is it a concern if his shoulder is fully healed -- which it apparently is? Admit it, you freaked over the initial reports that he had ice on his shoulder/neck and immediately jumped to the conclusion that he's got a permanently damaged wing.

If his neck is injured we simply MUST find a way to protect his shoulder! Makes sense to me!

He's still not done growing. He just grew an inch in the last year. What he needs is to have a summer off from playing basketball and to just relax for a few months. Once he finally stops growing he'll start to naturally bulk up at least a little. The best thing for his shoulder is to add a little meat on his bones.

Will this require surgery or is there a way to attach that T-bone over his skin and let it disintegrate into his body? Like a meat-patch or something.

He should go hang out with Boris Diaw. That guy will show him how to put on some weight! :ohno:

Teams are going to be going after his neck. :sigh:

maybe something like this?
