The numbers will blow your mind.

Blazers bigs are outscoring Grizzlies bigs 92-65

Blazers bigs are outrebounding Grizzlies bigs 61-46

Grizzlies bigs shooting 26/73 from the field

Blazers bigs shooting 34/77 from the field

Now imagine when the grizz big man show up

Since the Grizzlies are winning handily, then maybe this is part of their strategy? You know: let the bigs get theirs and stop all our outside shooting? In which case it's more "rope-a-dope" than "dominating".

But that's impossible. I've been told at least 20 times by every TNT and ESPN expert that the Grizzlies have far and away the best front court combo in the NBA.

:dunno:

You are correct Sir! That is exactly what they are doing. They know they cannot shut LA down but they can throw a giant blanket on Lillard. If CJ or AC plus Batum could make them pay for devoting so much on Lillard the Blazers would be fine. Since there is only a 2 dimensional threat the Grizz have pulled this off. The key is scoring at the 2 and 3 positions.
Upping the Blazers defensive energy might open things up a bit and it would also help to hit some wide open high percentage looks once in a while.

Now all we need is for the Blazers to dominate the Grizzlies and maybe we'll pull out a win.

ZBo and a Gasol are shooting badly on purpose?

Seems like a game plan drawn up by Pete Newell, himself. Right out of the medadata he would use.

We didn't win any of the games. Who cares? If LA scored 84 points and we lost, it doesn't matter.

Because, it means we are doing good things and if the guards start to play better, we can win the series.

I'm aware we lost the games but if we continue to dominate their bigs and Afflalo contributes, we will win games.

But just Afflalo, not Dame, Batum, CJ? :P

Sorry, that was too easy. :)
