Haak, do you like those jersey patch cards? I'm mixed on them, but I had no idea they had been doing them for so long. Thought it was a recent thing. Unless that's a new card of Cliff in memorization? Is that an active player card?

I see some other member dropped the ball posting some pics, so Ill show off mine soon.

...I think they are cool especially because all but the rookies cards come as "game used" -- and when you can get multiple colors/sections of jersey patches they are sweet imho. Collectors pay up for them too!

I will get some more pics going as well...

Almost all the newer cards, Shae, Ant, Nas, Dame, I bought. But all of the old cards came from packs and boxes.

The Beam Teams are actually members only. I signed up with topps stadium club in highschool and they sent me a box of members only cards. Pretty sure that box is worth a decent penny. It has more shaq and mj cards in it and they are pretty rare, but nothing is graded.

The grading process seems so expensive when they say you pay regardless of the value of the card. im a bit concerned Ill end up losing money in getting all the older ones graded. I have a ton more of the older ones. Most of those baseball cards a I have triple and quadruple of.

FYI, I really like the patch cards too. I was concerned they may not retain value, but they seem to be doing finer, even Nas is still listed on average more than I had paid for it.

The new Pininis (prizms, etc)are just out of this world. I got out of it until about two years ago and I remember when Stadium club and skybox came out and were game changes. These are bigger game changers than those it seems.
 
This is cool to see. I recently got back into the hobby after forgetting about it for 25 years. Most of what I have from back in the day hasn’t gone up much in value, so I question a lot about doing this for investment purposes.

Now I do it just for fun and collecting what I personally like. I’m on a big Shaedon run of collecting.
 
Funny story… I was with my aunt in Seaside when I was in sixth or seventh grade and she took me to a card shop where we came across the famous Fleer Jordan rookie card. The guy was selling it for $100 and my aunt told me she would buy it for me. I politely declined because I didn’t want her to spend that much money.

Something tells me I should have taken her up on the offer.

depends. Are yours graded?

mine aren't so i can only speculate. The best way ive found to check real world value is to search ebay for sold items and compare them to what you have.
For example this os not legit because it has not sold yet:
