So what did you guys think of the game? Did anybody watch? :)

My favorite part of the game was when the Mike's went on for at least five solid minutes in the third quarter about how and why Nate should clear the bench and use the opportunity to get some time for the backups. Heck, I'd have sat the starters the whole second half. Then later they came to their senses and went with the party line that Nate was getting the starters ready for the next game. Loved it.

Even funnier though was when Babbitt was wide fucking open for the three, and he was waving his arms like crazy like he was guiding a jet onto an aircraft carrier, and Matthews completely ignored him and only passed him the ball once he was finally covered. That's team work!

Actually, Babbitt looked pretty good. He always rebounds well. If Nico had Babbitt's aggression he'd lead the team in scoring.

I'm just glad there's another game tomorrow. Don't be late! :)

7th season traveling with the team........ Quietest plane I have ever been on.

You were getting a little heated with Joe Freeman tonight on Twitter.

Fuck Freeman! He's from Florida and has no ties to this team nor community. He didn't grow up listening to the Schonz and going to games at the MC or Paramount to watch them on the big screen. Easy for him to dog on 'em!

Nah, that would never happen because he'd miss a couple of dumb shots (comes with the "aggression" territory) and get immediately benched by Nate. In order for Nic to get to the spot where he's at now he's had to show McMillan for years that he won't take stupid shots. But I agree, if Nate allowed that type of scoring mentality for young kids then yes he'd be a great scorer. This had just been the first time Nate allowed Babbitt extended minutes in which Luke made his shots.

In answer to a couple posts; i don't think Wallace's problem is not trying; actually I think it is trying too hard at times to get things going offensive; putting himself in situations where he fails or turns the ball over. I think if he is given some of the type of plays where he can succeed at scoring; this will keep him working hard on everything else. McMillan thinks you just turn Wallace loose; I actually think he needs a little help with structure and having certain type of plays called.

I hope Paul sells the team, and the Blazers can get a real, experienced basketball person to run the basketball operational side of things.

Which owner (other than the Russian) played the game?

Um, what? What coach wants to be fired? He could just resign and save his dignity.

If a coach quits midseason, no owner will trust him with a head coaching job. A coach has to wait to be fired even if he wants out.

Er, I think he's saying he hopes Paul sells the team. And that he's also tired of Allen/Kolde/Vulcans/Hatguys running the show and would like someone that's been directly affliated with previous organizations calling the shots.

To answer your question though, Michael Jordan comes to mind.

Oh yeah, thanks, easy to forget him.
