KG is a piece of shit. You see him after Greg got that "technical" for that foul he put on Allen? He was pretending to be held back by his teammates... Like he'd last one second against Greg Oden. And the foul didn't even deserve a T. The foul by Boston on Travis was far worse and far more dangerous. God I hate the refs.
yep, not complaining much though. the tech they got cuz we had 6 players+bs tech on oden= lucky 2 points we got

KG, straight-up, is a bitch. Bleep it. Blank it out. Whatever. Even better, tell him I said it. I'm six inches shorter, much more of a gentleman, but I'd love to throw fists at him. What a cheap shot bitch. Fucker. I hate KG. I really do. Wow, you won a title, so now you can talk all your mouth can run? The good players can at least take a crap squad to the playoffs. You? Well, if my definition of a good player held, you wouldn't qualify as a good player. Great to see you run your mouht, talk you shit, throw you elbows out, flop like a bitch, and still lose. Congrats.

I hope that fires up Portland. I really do. To see that a "great" (PUKE) player like KG has to fake it to try to win with the refs and scrape it out, only to still lose? Hell, even if I weren't a Blazers fan, it would be a great night.

8 on 5, no Roy, and Portland wins? Let the "OVERRATED" chants begin. Not saying Portland is bad. Just sayin' people need to stop bowing down before the games begin. What do KG, Pierce, and Allen have in common?

Yeah, they won a title together in 2008. But, as individuals, they're not good enough to carry otherwise mediocre rosters to the playoffs. Overrated.

Did any of us man up and take a sig bet with Boston? I wanna see the results.

What a game!

* I hate KG. What a classless douchebag.

* Greg looked like he had fun. A great sign.

Perkins is such a product of playing with KG/Pierce/Allen, tonight he showed what he truly is: A fringe starter.

Not just a win. A win when we were DOWN by 13 or 14 points against the NBA champs.

Intestinal fortitude.

And I LOVED Oden tonight; he is definitely enjoying basketball again. Watch him blossom for the rest of the season.

I also loved the Twin Towers. When they were in, Boston was afraid to get within 15 feet of the basket. Pure intimidation.

Not just that, but when you split those guys on either side of the key and drive Blake in there, either one can grab the pass for the dunk when the defense collapses. They did that twice, iirc. Worked out great.

What do I love about Boston? Nothing.

Or do I love how people talk up Rondo, despite the fact he's nothing but a product of playing with three individuals other teams worry about? Yeah, definitely the latter. Most guys peak at 27-29. Rondo? I'd be surprised if his numbers aren't down, since the "Big 3" will have been gone 2-3 years.

Fez. I didn't know what douchebag meant.

So, my curiosity got the best of me. I looked it up. I saw a picture of KG. I still dunno what it means? So I ask, what is a douchebag (besides KG)?

Great win.
Vastly exceeded my expectations.
Some of Odens fouls appeared to me to be the direct result of Maurice Lucas coaching.
Travis made some smart fouls in the 2nd half, refusing to let the Celtics get to the basket.
Bayless didn't show me much in the minutes his fans were clamoring for.
I can't talk, been screaming for a couple of hours.
Best game I've seen this year.
Going steelhead fishing in the morning.

Yep, agreed. That was great. I hope Nate uses that Twin Tower lineup of Oden/Przybilla more often if for no other reason than to intimidate the opposition. Better than having Frye or Diogu out there for sure.

Greg should turn and face the basket more often. I think his face up may be a bit better than his back to the basket game at this point. Had a nice little short range jumper, even put the ball on the floor and semi drove to the basket once.

The Oden backdown on KG that literally made KG's knees buckle was a thing of beauty.

Were you "Steelheader" in a previous iteration?

Yeah, I think we saw some Maurice Lucas Affect on the team tonight. I hope it grows from there. The Blazers need to play with a tad more meanness. Like tonight. I can't wait for the day we are pushing the Celtics around. I think we're in their heads already.

ive said that about perkins and rondo for 2 years now. put blake and pryz on the celtics....you have 2 all stars

its the talent around them

Oden's assist to Outlaw for the dunk was #3 on the top 10 plays tonight, at least in the top 10 during the post-game segment with Ahmad Rashad, C-Webb, and Payton.

Yeah, the video they've got up right now left that one out. That kinda pissed me off.

"I thought they were the more physical team in the second half," Boston coach Doc Rivers said. "They just destroyed us on the boards."

Enough said. :tsktsk:

Yeah, I just watched the one on NBA.com and the top 10 plays was EXACTLY the same one they showed during the segment with Ahmad Rashad minus Oden's pass at 3. Disgusting.

He gets bashed a lot, but I give Nate a TON of credit for getting this team ready without Brandon, moving on without him and staying with the Celtics after a crummy start.
Nate did a great job coaching tonight.

check out the comments.

I like the comment about Mike Rice, and then he acts like Tommy Heinsohn, of all announcers, isn't the biggest fucking joke in all of Sports.

Actually, him and the guy for the Bulls.

90% of those who bashed Oden are now singing his praises without even acknowledging how the doubted him. Personally, he earns the gold star for the night. He was solid, tough, and he didn't back down. He was called for a cheap foul or two, but that's out of his control (hey, come on, it was 8-on-5 tonight). But I saw him throw out a couple hard fouls and be willing to use that big body to throws bitches (see KG) around. Props to G.O. I ain't gonna sleep on ya, fella. You'll arrive soon enough.

Yep, props to Nate for the win. He had our boys ready to go. And props to our fans, we were freaking nuts all game long!
GO is only going to get better as the year goes on, as the knee improves and he gains trust in it, theres no stopping him.
And to all you Trav hater, STFU! Trav was on a mission tonight..his attacks of the hoop were crucial and although he had the lapse on the steal, he shouldn't be bringing the ball up the court in the first place!
