Kenny says if you're a contender, you cut the lead down. Well, we did that! So we must be a contender!
I think we get the point. No need to say the same thing 3 different times.
The Blazers don't even put up a fight on the road. This is unacceptable in most organizations but Nate and KP seem to be cool with being blown out away from the Rose Garden.

Are you serious?
Dude, you turned off the game too early.![]()
We are a jimmy joke on the road. This team doesn't know how to play defense away from the Rose Garden and can't impose their style of play on any legit team in the West.
We're 13-17 on the road. Last year, we were 13-28. We're making improvement. Be patient.
Last year, the top two teams in the NW division each won 17 road games.
I know. We only have to go 4-7 the rest of the way to do that.
Care to elaborate then? The reason KP didn't make a trade at the deadline was because he though the RLEC would be more valuable this summer. With the RLEC off our own books, we are going to be about 6-8 million under the cap and that gives us even more flexibility when making trades this summer. Not to mention the TE we got from Diogu, and Blake and Outlaw's expiring contracts. And teams are going to want to do a deal this summer. During the year some teams think they still have a chance, so players like Caron can become avaliable over the summer. KP said he wouldn't mortgage our future for a better shot this year, and I think we have enough to get into the playoffs this year, and with the cap space this offseason, add another piece at a discount price this offseason that can push us even farther. All we need, and should be the goal this season, is playoff experience. No I don't think you do.
Did you miss the second quarter? We played great defense.
The Nuggets missing open jumpers isn't great defense. And our offense is horrendous in the Pepsi Center.
I meant that for others, I just used your quote to leap frog into the conversation.
Not trading makes a lot of sense, you just got to take a step back to look at it.
Like I said. Making the playoffs was all the goal was this year. And we still have 4.5 games up on PHX for the 8th spot. You need to take a fucking chill pill dude. Not making a trade has put our playoff chances in jeopardy and virtually guaranteed us a 1st round and out if we do make it.
If KP can land us Prince in the Summer, all is forgiven. I highly doubt that will happen though.
