Blazers Fan Fest Online (HD)!

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Also, Brandon Roy does look pretty skinny this year!

Annnnnnd Wesley Matthews (17pts) wins the Fanfest Trophy... it will make a great paperweight to hold down his huge stacks of cash when he has the window open.

BREAKING: the trophy is actually solid gold; that's how Wes is getting paid this year.

Wes and Nic impressed the most to me. That one move by Nic when he had that hesitation in the fast break and dunked.... wow.

Yeah, that Nic move was sick! It made everyone else look really weird, like they were falling over themselves while he looked so perfectly smooth. Dude is simply graceful out there.

It was an excellent, sharp picture. There, I end with something nice about the broadcast. The image was sharp.

Summer League games had a much worse image, and the same wall-to-wall interviews. So this was better. There, I end with something nice.

I discovered that Armon Johnson absolutely can not shoot even if his life depends upon it....

In a post-game interview, Concave Head asked Roy why he's playing harder. He said it's because he now thinks of himself as belonging in the Lebron-Kobe group. But I think it's because Matthews is giving him competition for his starting job. They were even in the 1st quarter, when they matched each other shot for shot.

Quick said that Aldridge didn't play hard a year ago because his contract had not been finalized. I remember that he was angry about it.

This was fun to watch. Elliot Williams was very impressive. He was just about everywhere. Might have snagged more rebounds than Kevin Love and Dejuan Blair combined... ;)

Fun game to watch in person, but I'm not really sure how much to take away from anybody's performance with no true centers participating. Wes did stand out though.

Just got back from the greek fest........ i'm drunk!

I thought you're a Mexican! Type something and prove you're drunk!

They have greek tacos called gyros son! Very fun night, off to bed, have to be in Eugene at 8AM!

I thought you were doing the Beavers game.

Bayless should've been player of the game. He completely ran the show for the white team, setting up his teammates in the first three quarters and then scoring when necessary down the stretch. He was the best PG in the building and had the best stats: 12 pts, 6 rebs, 8 assts. Wes was awesome though no doubt. Roy was great and Elliott Williams was impressive. And his pregame dunks were incredible.

Fun game to watch. Roy and Aldridge doing their thing. Wes was amazing, hopefully he can bring this into Tuesday's game. Elliot Williams showed why he was the 2nd best SG in the draft and why he should've been drafted higher. Batum, while off target, was smooth; I expect great things from Batum this year, hopefully.

BTW, Quick is a douche. I used to let him get away with it but the guy loves to create needless drama. I wonder if he has Asperger's?

That is just him trying to prove he's drunk.

Although it's not any different then any of the rest of his posts, so maybe he's drunk all the time. It sure would explain a lot.

A lot of his points were fouls at the end. While that's important it throws off the line a bit.

Hit me up with a box score when anyone finds one.

Please and Thank You.

I'm pretty sure there won't be one -- at least one that gets published.

Here's a quick rundown of what I can remember from the game

Matthews 17 points on 7/11 shooting (3/4 on 3 pointers)
Roy 15 points on 6/9 shooting (2/3 on three pointers)
Rudy 9 points on 3/6 shooting from beyond the arc.
Bayless 12/6(rbds)/8(asts) on 3/4 shooting and some end of game fouls shots
Williams 11 points 6 boards and a couple of nasty dunks
Batum 8 points a couple of steals, a nice breakaway dunk, some nifty passes and mostly cold shooting from outside
Aldridge 12 points, 9 boards and a couple of assists, with a mix of post moves and fadeaway jumpers in about 24 minutes (against Pendergraph)

Other than that, nobody else really stood out

That's impossible. Haven't you heard......Bayless isn't a PG

Here ya go, figure this out. The game went fast because of 10-minute quarters, and because the clock was left on between possessions and during free throws.

At 5:27 he (I think it's Jaynes) says that at this time a year ago, Aldridge was mad about his contract being unsettled, so he didn't do any work. Quick, sitting next to him, is silent about how he kept this secret by never disclosing it. The Oregonian is selective about which players it picks on.

Roy and Matthews look like they're already good buddies. Perfect signing, Matthews is an excellent utility guy.

You guys rock. Thanks.

A lot of these guys look great.

Matthews looks phenomenal!

Let's keep it in perspective. It was good to see Wes doing what he did, but it was a scrimmage. He was brought in for defense and hustle and will probably be the 8th option on offense. It was good to see him hit that 3 though. We'll need it with no Marty and possibly Rudy.

8th option on offense? I beg to differ.
