I think we'll sign Hicks in the end. He'll wait for us. The line of FA starters willing to come here is short and we'll only get one or two, with money remaining for Hicks.

We may have Bird Rights on his as well, but it wont be known until sometime next month.

Beal at 6 would be great. It all depends on how bad/good Harrison Barnes looks at workouts.

I agree. I hope they are right about this: "Barnes is a perfect fit for a Sacramento team in need of a small forward and strong character/maturity to help with team chemistry"

Would they go for another SG? Not as it stands, but maybe if they traded Evans.

Chad Ford with an early mock:

#6: Andre Drummond
#11: Jeremy Lamb
I hate the idea of Drummond @ #2 because you want a surefire player at that spot. But at #6, he's definitely worth the risk. Lamb dropping below 10 is unfathomable to me.

I think we're in great position to trade up.

That should be option #1.

We aren't gonna get up to 1, and outside of Davis, there is no definite star in this draft. I'd rather trade out for someone like Rondo or Steph Curry (I know he's not on the market, but w/e).

So as it turns out, GW was very good for Ptd.

He came to the Blazers for very little, gave a boost of energy to the Blazer fans with all his energy and style of play A fan favorite when the team needed it as Roy faded off into the sunset. He starting getting lazy and ineffective in a year the Blazers suck and gets traded for the #6 pick.

A successful combination of moves with GW. Wasn't as big of a fan at the end (huge last year), but thank you GW for the memories and the #6 pick.

Sidenotes: No organization and fans should have to endure being the worst team in NBA history and not end up with the top pick . . . who gets credit for the Wallace trade . . . I could see Cho wanting the 6 and 11 for the 2 . . . damn I sure wish NJ won the coin flip with Sacramento.

With this management it wouldn't surprise me to see them trade the picks for a nearly 30 year old player.

The quick fix rout should not be an option. This team is nowhere close to being a title contender.

I would hate to be a Bobcats fan, i just saw some on another forum wanting to trade Tyrus Thomas for BOTH of our picks, lol.

Nearly 30? Rondo is 26, he'd be a great get.

Gotta get a top 10 player in the league. These picks won't have much of an impact. Building through the draft outside the top 3 doesn't work.

I'd rather get a SG or SF who can score lights out to draw Deron Williams into signing with us. I bet he's seriously considering us. With LA and our assets, we look much better to be in a position to win than other teams being discussed.

I agree with this for Rondo. But no way would I trade both picks for Curry. With our luck and his fragile body..........no way.

would Drummond being a DeAndre Jordan be good enough for us? He sounds really similar.

Am I right in saying that the Clippers traded the picks that turned out to be #1 overall in the past two drafts?

Just as long as they don't trade it for Iggy.

I'm nervous that's just what they might do.

Even with Iggy, the guy is 28. I don't necessarily want him, but it would be more exciting then drafting a guy who ends up being a bust.

When you factor in his age, contract and the new CBA there is no way you should even consider him as an option.

No fucking way.

No. Jordan is not good at much. Drummond is at least supposed to be a decent defender

Chad Ford said he could be the next Bynum(hopefully without the crazy) in the right system, but who knows, really.
