Weird isn't it - the Goryonion loves to emphasize the negative, but they are offering zero insight into the team's collapse.

Further proof that Quick, Canzano, et al really don't any more than the average fan.

I wish we didn't have to depend on home cooking next month, but with 5 of 7 at home....it may come down to that. The Memphis, Phoenix, and Golden State games are going to be HUGE.

Stole this from Wizenheimer on RealGM:

on Jan 18, Portland was 31-9 and riding a 5 game winning streak

since then the Blazers are 14-17 and have gone 2-15 against teams with winning records, the two wins coming against Toronto and Washington. They are also 0-12 against western conf. 'playoff' teams

that sure looks like a classic example of a season going south

Blazers are 7-13 in games decided by 5 or less since the December loss at home to the Heat.

i give a f.. on aldridge.. this guy is like a diva.. he cries for everyfuckn decision when the team goes wrong he is injured.. so we see that in the last year and we saw that this year.. i dont believe in aldridge for this reason..

Yeah... I don't think you know the meaning of the word diva.

The tank is strong.

Ehh, I'm mad right now, but I think he's really injured rather than faking it because he's mad at the team.

If the team had been doing this from the start we'd have a Jabari, Wiggins, or Embid for sure!

they waited too late to tank the season. They're just making Charlotte happier.

i dont know about the trueness , but its example last year was the same shit..this is year is little closer then we are up on 1 seed early this year and we are still in a playoff rank , but he is injured since he begins to play realy bad..

And you're actually a fan of this team? ok......

It's obvious these kind of losses don't even sting us anymore. We know this team isn't doing anything this season.

Watched the 4th Q with absolutely no emotion.

Me too. Guys this is serious. Only 3 games ahead of 9th seeded Mavs and they have the tiebreaker. So does Memphis. And Phoenix if they beat us. We may not make playoffs. Tomorrow is must win.

Give it a break man, LaMarcus is a great guy, humble, a three time allstar and sorely missed since his injury...I saw him fall, apparently you didn't.

Yeah. I didn't believe for a second that he was only going to be out for 2 games. That looked really bad.

I'll take it a step further. The rest of this road trip HAS to be 2-1. Orlando we SHOULD win... ATL has been playing much better with Millsap... then that Chicago game I have little hope for (4th in 5 nights with one of the best defensive teams in the league? Yeah... that's no good.)

All part of the cunning plan! They want to get rid of LMA, but don't want to endure the fan backlash. So, they are going to goad him into demanding a trade. That gets them off the hook AND gives them an ironclad excuse to lower expectations for the forseeable future.

Low expectations, not success, are a coaches'/GM's best friend. Add in an owner who has been seduced by the knowledge that the NFL actually allows small market teams to win...and we are pretty well boned.

Who cares? Those guys suck.

Yep. We're in hot water. And it will take Aldridge time we don't have to regain his rhythm.

Dirk is a Allstar too. is that enough..
Sure was when he won a ring with Stotts as the offensive coordinator. Yeah...I'm a fan of LaMarcus Aldridge. You hate the guy, your choice. I happen to be really glad he's a Blazer.

I didn't get to see the game but sounds like we lost on a last second shot to the defending champs. I don't see the reason to give up.

Whom we are playing doesn't matter anymore. We need WINS. Moral victories are fine in December. Not so in late March. But no one is giving up.

I haven't heard the fat lady sing yet, it's not over. Need a win streak and momentum going into the first round.
