LaMarcus is dangerously close to becoming a guy who puts up monster stats on a crap team ... which is really just an indictment of the rest of the team not him.

McMillan is ruining our team. These players are good but are being wasted in this shitty system. It isn't are actual roster, it's the coach. I've been saying for several years that Nate blows, now some of you are starting to follow. He's a horrible coach who is ruining the players on the roster.

Here's the bottom line: The team has quit on Nate. They've tuned him out. There's no spark, no fire. The only spark the team has is at home with the crowd juicing them up. A coach's job is to juice up his players on the road, to light a fire. There's none of that. Nate has to go.

You're only half right.

Man if I wasn't so beat today and it wasn't a school night for the kids, I'd drive my son up to Sacto for this game. I'm tired of taking him to losses to the Warriors at Oracle so the only chance to see a Blazer win around here is to trek to Sacto!

Looks like you'll have to bring him to Portland, it's the only place this garbage team can win.

I miss Batum. He could have soaked up a lot of those useless minutes that went to Trash.

Actually I don't think that's it at all ... most of these players (guard really) just aren't very good -- or at least they don't appear to know how to play with each other.

It may be time but it's also time to move some players IMO, this team is going nowhere, need to make moves for next 2-4 years

You might be onto something. "Sarge" may work with the rooks, but the vets can see though his bullshit.

All these road losses follow the same formula. Come out decent, build a small lead, let the other team hang around. COLLAPSE in the 3rd, and then give up in the 4th.

It's on the coach to gameplan and make adjustments, and then the players to execute. Quite frankly, I don't think one side is to blame, both sides stop caring once they hit a little adversity and it just snowballs from there. Changing one side isn't going to do anything, they gotta get rid of some of the players AND the coach.

As long as we keep destroying at home our record wont indicate bad team just 6-8 playoff team.

I don't think it would matter if we got Deron Williams tomorrow. McMillan would find a way to fuck his game up in his system too.

I don't have much hope in this year's team anymore. Nothing to look forward to except the draft and free agency. If we make the playoffs, we'll maybe win one game and then get ousted like always.

I guess I can always pray for a completely lopsided trade before the trade deadline, but even then, we would still be one and out in the playoffs.

Which is the coaches responsibility.

Hey, no argument from me on Nate, I've been ready and willing to go a different direction for awhile now. I'm just saying that it's as much of a talent issue as it is a coaching one with this particular team. Our guards just aren't very good right now and that's having a domino affect in close games.

Just a mental thing on the road right now

They'll beat Denver on Saturday at least

Why do they suck though? Crawford has never been this bad, Felton has never been this bad, and Matthews has never been this bad. Ask yourself why? ALL these veterans seem to regress in the McMillan system. Why is that? I don't disagree that it'd be nice to get an upgrade in talent, but I don't think its even as to why these guys are producing. I think Nate is more so the reason than their (in)ability to play the game of basketball. Felton was excellent last season for the Knicks.

I love how automatic we are on the road! Automatic loss.

Why do they suck? Hell I don't know. Frankly, it doesn't even really matter why, the fact is they just do. Is it Nate? Is it the lockout? Is it bad chemistry? Your guess is as good as mine. All I know is that it's time to get young, suck and live in the lottery for a little while and hope to get lucky. Yay!

Can't wait to hear what mediocreman has to say. I'm assuming his head exploded or something. Although reading some of these posts, people are trying to fill his shoes.

If you're going to do that, you might as well trade away Aldridge. He's entering his prime soon and there's no reason he should hang around if we're going to be lottery bound for the next 3-4 years.

Barring some crazy string of luck, I don't see how we're going to be contenders anytime soon though. Chicago (unintentionally) dipped for one year, got really lucky and got Rose. This team needs a stroke of luck like that because quite frankly, they blew it the last time they got that luck. (Oden) Once in a decade opportunity, pissed away.

I wouldn't say the team sucks. They are great at home. They are losers on the road. They have talent, but on the road, they are choke artists, and the guards shoot a pathetic % from3 pt range. We've already lost 7 games by 5 points or less for fuck sake.

I can live with that.
