Blazers Off-Season Grade?

lol at any idiotic posts with C's in the grade. Your posts need to realize that the expectation didn't meet the reality. Stop putting up posts of projection without first drinking a bit of reality. The only reasons your posts are pissy is because you didn't have reasonable expectations. So, that's on your posts.

What does that mean for posts with A+

Incomplete. The FA period just started, there could be more in the offing. Who wants to be graded by the first two weeks of class?

Sometimes the best move is no move at all. Or in this case 2 very small moves that guaranteed won't hurt the team and could very well add a few more wins over last season.

I give a B+ for cost. And a C- for talent.

Technically, free agency hasn't even been going a day yet, let alone two weeks. This place is crazy.

Dwight Jaynes loves the Blake signing!

They want a brand new BMW for the cost of a honda fit.

For the second year in a row, we are going to win more games than the Lakers. Sure, I'd rather win a championship, but being better than the Lakers is sufficient to get some satisfaction and enjoyment out of any season.

BNM

i would say C+ at least, because an average offseason around here involves a career ending injury

Check you out . . . you spew spastic posts that show you don't have a clue what you are talking about, than in less than 5 minute admit you are wrong with egg on your face and make jokes about yourself . . . and then you post something like this.

Try thinking before you post, it helps.

At least I can admit it.

Also, what I said is true, so there's that.

Ou team is better this year because the guys who are here are going to play better. 60 wins is in reach.

Hmmm... is it that time for "Guess the Blazers record?" yet?

I think 60 may be a bit high.... but, I'll reserve it for a few weeks to see the real shake out.

No point guessing the record until the offseason is over.

if lebron signs for a series of 10 day contracts i reserve the right to change my grade to 47 and a half gold stars

Kaman is productive still.

Blake looked solid in LA, no so much in GS.

Both are stopgaps. Neil said he would be creative and opportunistic which I think got a lot of people's hopes up. The young guys better step it up.

I don't think Olshey should have ever used the phrase "move the needle." It's what we're all looking for now... and we're not getting it.

Echoes of Pritchard saying that he had a deal in place for a "significant player in this league?" (Or somesuch...I can't remember the exact wording anymore.)

Kaman/Blake are the reason why Allen didn't buy into the draft like he's done every year?

D-

Was it like a shock to some of you guys that we didn't have much cap flexibility this year in a saturated market?
