Check this out. ESPN is very high on the Blazers. One more piece, like Kevin Love, could be the only thing between them and a title, according to Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe.

It has nothing to do with being a rookie coach or a the longest tenured coach in the league.

Some coaches are capable of leading a team to a title, and some are not.
And you know that Stotts is one of the coaches who cannot?? Care to offer any evidence? The players love him, management loves him, and he is regarded highly by NBA analysts. The guy has coached a long time, and he has all the tools you need to win a title.

Wouldn't we have had to include Turner to match salaries? Kinda late for that.

Harkless, Leonard, Skal, I believe, gets the $$ to match after the new league $$ takes effect. If done before Sunday, we wouldn't need to include Skal.

And then you were neutered....

Life is so cruel.....

No Love please! We need to keep our FAs and see how another year of gelling plus Liitle and Baze infusion can get us to the top. Everyone should practice shooting from all angles and become a threat from everywhere.

Hmmm....

Rather not include Skal, but that package is already pretty thin.

So, tomorrow?

Yeah, it was just the minimum $$ we'd need to send out to match his salary.

Harkless and Meyers jumps up a combined one million after Sunday.
Love salary jumps up 4.7 million.

So now or never without using Collins. Which maybe Cleveland is hoping for.

I don’t think you need to send significant assets to get back Love. Expirings and one late first rounder should be more than enough considering his contract situation.

I agree. Acquiring Kevin Love is the one thing that might deny the Blazers a title.

Nobody said he knew anything. He said "I do not believe". He also said "I might be wrong" and "that's my opinion". Not all opinions are evidence based.

Listening to Lowe and Woj analyze makes me sorry for the 4 minutes of my life I won't get back.

They might have contacts and be able to report what they hear. But actually understanding value, fit, chemistry, or how everything comes together for a specific team is not their strong suit. It's more about just saying stuff to drive viewership and attention, but it's devoid of substance.
