Our team is so devoid of talent right now, that trading both picks for one pick is a huge mistake. We need an infusion of new talent. Badly. Our cap space is going to bring in one, maybe two new players. That's simply not enough. In all likelihood we will lose Hickson, so we will need to try to plug in some youth at guard and forward. I think we should sit on our picks, take the BPA at #6 and the BPA at 11 and then fill needs in free agency. I have a good feeling that someone will drop on draft day. They always do. Maybe we get lucky and Robinson or Drummond drop to six, and then we get Lamb or maybe Lillard at 11. This lottery is full of guys that could end up being above average or maybe even star players. No superstars, but definitely some guys with star potential. It would be stupid to pass up the chance to roll the dice twice instead of just once.
