Isn't that the MC?
Isn't that the MC?
Surprise! Moda is being torn down in order to add buildings with businesses on the bottom and apartments on top with very little parking anywhere.
Honestly, the Urban Growth Boundary is going to the be death of this city.
Agreed. Been here my whole life and I just wonder when I'll be ready to leave.
I'm a native Portlander who moved to the southernmost 'burbs over 30 years ago in order to cut my work commute in half. I resented it for years. Portland was the be all and end all and I was a Portland boy to the core. Then, when Portland started to boom (and insist on shitty ideas like bike lanes, light rail, high rises and no additional parking) I became very, very smug because I didn't have to deal with the results of the aforementioned stupid planning. My little burg was clean, safe and uncongested. Unfortunately, that is changing as the sprawl continues to overtake ALL the surrounding suburbs. The other day (stuck in traffic yet again in the middle of the morning) I seriously for the first time since I moved out here pondered moving down the valley (Salem being the venereal wart I would never, EVER consider. Apologies to @Dougnsalem). Unfortunately at this stage in my life, moving elsewhere just isn't a real wise consideration, all factors taken into account. But I would encourage the younger folks who can afford it to get out while the getting is good because it's only going to get worse. BG did and I envy the shit outta him. Portland, for all its remaining charms is no longer worth the time and hassle.......Agreed. Been here my whole life and I just wonder when I'll be ready to leave.

It's to the point where surrounding areas (Scapoose, Troutdale, Vancouver, Milwaukie, Oregon City, McMinville, Salem etc) are more appealing than Portland, despite the potential increase in commute (well, maybe not McMinville and Salem).
Driving up Division is so strange now. It's so different than just 5 years ago, let alone 10-15. And traffic..holy shit, wtf happened?? Rush hour is now like 2pm on.
Er, yes i like the new floor design.
Rip City is gone and the font is different under the baskets:Is that different from last years court other than the logo?
Rip City is gone and the font is different under the baskets:
Oh. Did your "HEAR" this? From your multiple sources? Fuck outta here FAMS!I'd be shocked if they dont put Rip City back on the court. They are probably updating it since it is made with all the names of season ticket holders.
