Maybe we'll trade/renounce some guys and bring in Gasol and Mahinmi and have a whole new frontcourt?
 
Can't wait for the next board meltdown if Gasol goes elsewhere.
 
well, he's good at REALLY interior defense (3' and in), but I don't know that I saw a whole bunch of interior defense on OKC, GSW, CLE...

I mean, I'd take Gasol on the floor over Steven Adams, Tristan Thompson, Andrew Bogut, Festus Ezeli, Timmy Mosgov, Enes Kanter...even at 35.
 
he'd be a really interesting pickup, with our C depth he could play 20-25 MPG effectively vs the over 31 mpg he played last yr
 
Gasol has never had a negative DBPM for a season in his career. He had a 3.5 DBPM last year playing mostly center. We know he's not going to be a good defender on the perimeter so he had to have been contributing with rim protection. He had 2.3 blocks per 36, which is pretty damn good. He's a good rim protector with a low post game. He can stretch the floor and pass the ball. Would be a great fit for Olshey's offense.
 
Seriously, Gasol is a 2x champion... Lord knows how many time all star. He's seen it all and done it all. We NEED someone like that, when's the last time we have a multiple time champ that was actually good still on our team?

Trade Plumlee for a future 1st and we have $10M or so. It'd probably take more so I'm guessing we renounce Harkless or Leonard or trade Davis. That would give us $14M-$15M.

I'm guessing he wants a 3 year deal with the last year being a player option.
 
I'm hearing wade is getting offers averaging 20m per. I think gasol gets at least 15.

It don't matter if we have a 2nd team all NBA player (top 10 player) , an upcoming star and most improved player, front runner coach of the year, you name it

For whatever reason top free agents or a name brand like Pau Gasol will be damned to come here
