Blazers Roll Call

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

I became a Blazers fan in 99/00 watching them from Alaska and hating Shaq's fat ass really sealed dea before I moved here in 01. Also I ampretty jealous of native oregonians and others with memories of the Drexler years
Dame is my favorite current Blazer
Brandon Roy is probably my favorite Blazer all-time
and Roy's buzzer beater against Houston and Wheels' call of it is probably my favorite moment.

Hey, welcome to S2!

How long have you been a fan? For as long as I can remember

Who is your current favorite player? LaMarcus Aldridge

Who is your All Time favorite player? Arvydas Sabonis

What was your favorite moment?

Re: Blazer Roll Call

As long as I remember. I've been a Portland native for all of my 28 years, and I can't remember a time when I wasn't closely following the team.

Would have to be Brandon Roy.

That's a tough one. Definitely one of the guys from the Finals teams of the early 90's. Either Clyde, Terry or Buck.

Pippen hitting the 3 in Game 5 of the conference semifinals in 2000 vs. Utah to lift us to the Western Conference Finals. Just a ballsy shot that blew the roof off the Rose Garden. Then you had Bryon Russell at the free throw line at the other end, missing both shots while Blazer fans shook the basket on that end of the floor. Too bad it preceded one of the worst moments in Blazers history that would happen in the next series. :sigh:

Anyone seen this guy lately?

How long have you been a fan? As long as I can remember, I am 27 so 20+ years.

Who is your current favorite player? Lillard. Love his work ethic

Who is your All Time favorite player? Clyde the Glide. Lots of pets named Clyde through my life.

What was your favorite moment? Tough one... Probably the time my dad got us court side seats to the celebration of 25th anniversary of the Championship team, and it ended up being a triple overtime win against Kobe/Shaq Lakers. Met Mo Lucas, Bill Walton, and then Jerome Kersey sat behind us.

Wow, that would have been a great game to sit courtside for.

And welcome to S2!

welcome! Jump in, the water is fine!

How long have you been a fan? 16 years

Who is your current favorite player? Big Game Damian Th-Th-Th-Thrillard

Who is your All Time favorite player? Oh boy. So many. My brain says Brandon, my heart says Sheed.

What was your favorite moment? My young excitement almost beating LA in the 2000 WCF's, then my excitement (and innocence) being horribly crushed. Still haven't gotten over that. Favorite Rose Garden moment: I was at a game in 2009 where Brandon went one-on-one with the entire Atlanta Hawks (and specifically, Joe Johnson) and won the game for us. God, he was so good.

Been a Blazers fan since 74. Fav Blazers player Bill Walton. Fav Blazers moment shaking Walton's hand during the victory parade. Of course there were about 5 other hands shaking his hand too.

My fav time at a game was when we were down to Dallas in the playoffs and made a come back and just kick them in game 4 or 5. It was electric that nite.

How long have you been a fan? 6 or 7 years

Who is your current favorite player? Lillard

Who is your All Time favorite player? Roy

What was your favorite moment? When Andre Miller threw the ally oop to Batum as time expired to beat the Spurs!

Been a fan as long as I can remember, since about 89.

Favorite current player would have to be Wesley Matthews, because he came into the league on a long shot, and has worked hard every year to improve and earn the contract everyone said he didn't deserve.

Favorite all time would be Clyde. The first epic battle in the NBA I remember so vividly to this day was between Drexler and MJ, that man will always be a favorite.

Favorite moment would be when Brandon Roy made a surprise visit to a Blazers game after his retirement. Przybilla was knocked down to the floor on a play, as the Rose Garden erupted in cheers as they saw Roy walking along court side. Joel looked around confused at first, then looks up to see his old team mate, smiled, and immediately got up ignoring the game in progress, to go see his old friend.

I was there for that!

Welcome Blue! Nice to have another dog around here.

A little advice Bluedoggy: if you turn your back on SlyPokerDog make sure your tail is down.

Thanks SlyPokerDog. And I'll keep your advice in mind HomerLovesKoolAid.

I used to frequent the old yahoo sports forum and BBB.net before I joined the military and moved from Portland. It's nice to see some familiar names here and a good online Blazers community still active.

favorite blazers of all time clyde, rasheed wallace, brian grant, joel przybilla, patty mills, jeff ayers (previously pendergraph) bradon roy, aldridge, lillard

favorite current blazers would have to be a toss up with the starting 5, they are playing so well together right now i cant decide who i love more.

favorite blazer moments. when brian grant got a bloody lip from karl malone and returned the favor. anytime joel put up his dukes, sheed's passionate technicals and dunks. but ultimately would be the game 4 dallas brandon roy comback because i was in the 300s and ive never hugged and kissed so many strangers in my life. i also prayed at half time that the basketball gods would take my knees and give them to brandon for just 1 quarter. ill never forget that moment.

Haven't been here in ages. Nice to see this community is still going (formerly tblazrdude/trailblazerdude).

Yo.

Blazers fan since 1991 Western Conference semis against Utah.

Terry Porter is the greatest. (Had his face on my birthday cake when I turned seven.)

Favorite moment, the comeback. Had teeth marks on my knuckles from biting my fist with nerves.

Sarah's in the house now? Does this mean I should stop proclaiming my everlasting smittenism on her?

This is where you post how long you have been a Blazers fan, Favorite Blazer, and Favorite Blazer Moment.
I've been a Blazers fan since 04-05. Growing up I idolized MJ so until he retired I was his guy. Saw his last game in Portland for my 14th birthday and is one of my greatest sports memories. He had 25 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in that game (had to look up those stats no lies here) and his fadeaway is burned into my brain for all time as the greatest shot ever. I was a big Durant over Oden guy and was devastated when injuries brought down the new blazer dynasty. I'm excited for the current season but still feel like we're a piece or two away from true contention and love to make nonsensical trade proposals. I have posted over at Blazersedge for a long time but since my work blocked them I've been looking around for a good place to talk Blazers and since this is the "official" forum so I figured I'd give it a try. Favorite current Blazer is Lillard, have lots of love for LMA as well though. Favorite Blazer Moment has to be B Roys 4th quarter against the Mavs, one of the greatest performances in sports I have ever seen. Go Blazers!
