Nice to have you here!
This is where you post how long you have been a Blazers fan, Favorite Blazer, and Favorite Blazer Moment.
A Fan since the 89-90 season, but bounced back and forth with the Sonics as I had divorced parents and moved back and forth from Portland to Seattle ( I feel like I had it good then because both teams were contenders and both went to the finals in the next few years.
Favorite player no: Dame, like most
Favorite player of all time: Tough one, but I will go with Uncle Cliffy
Favorite Blazers moment: Going up 2-0 on Detroit, even though they won in the end. That feeling after winning the second games was was close as I have ver felt to feeling like a ring is inevitable.
I missed this thread, so I am posting late.![]()
Just found this thread.....a member since July 2, 2015. I've been a Blazer fan since they entered the league in 1970, which would have made me a tender 16 years old. And the 1970 NBA draft remains one of the most talented in the history of the league, which made our entry even better.
My son is a long time member of this site (and a serious smart ass and serial poster, and who will remain anonymous) and urged me to take part in this circus. I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far except when members start getting pissy with each other. Then it reminds me of OLive.....but that's just me. I'm here for the insights, debates, camaraderie and laughs, and enjoy it most when everyone plays nice. Pretty much so far so good....
Favorite all time Blazer is Geoff Petrie. I wish you younger folks could have seen him shoot. When he was on, there was no one better. Mo Lucas is a close second.
Current favorite is Dame obviously. But I'm starting to get a serious bromance going with Vonleh.
Favorite Blazer moment? Really??? Winning the championship, of course. Though Lucas clocking Dawkins upside the head in Game 2 of the finals after Chocolate Thunder swung and missed at Bobby Gross (flattening Doug Collins instead) is right up there. And all parties were allowed to remain in the game! That turned the tide of the whole series. Gawd I miss those days.....
Been a Blazer fan since 1997.
Favorite current Trailblazer: CJ. He's an intelligent guy that can impact any game.
Favorite Blazer of all time: Brian Grant
Favorite Blazer moment: Dame with 0.9 is probably the most blown away I've ever been. In my life.
Thanks for being cool, all my fellow sports fans!
Bonzi Wells?Favirote Blazer- Bonzi Wells
All-time- Bill Walton

Welcome! All good stuff too! What I really liked was that eventually Grant and Malone became friends, and have gone fishing together. Pretty cool....Fan since early 80's, I would listen to almost every game on the radio with my parents. A lot of times I would take stats and compare them to the boxscore the next day, or re-enact the game call on my nerf hoop.
I was a huge Jim Paxson fan early on, then Clyde, and now how could you not love Dame? Even though the current roster has only been together for a little over a year, it's rapidly becoming one of my favorite blazer squads of all time!
One moment that sticks out is the '99 playoffs when Brian Grant got in Karl Malone's face. I was camping with friends, listening on the radio and it got us all pumped up. D. Lillard beating the Houston Rockets with that 0.9 second last heave was epic too. Watched that over and over 100 times.
damn. yall got tons of blazer fans. lol. too bad none of them post

All time favorite player is Bill Walton.
Favorite moment is hard to choose. Love the buzzer on the game where Portland won the championship series. Love the famous buzzer beater shot by Brandon Roy. Who can forget the shot by Lillard that won both the game and the series with Houston and where he uttered the now famous words 'RIP CITY'.
Blazer fan since 5 years old (1990)This is where you post how long you have been a Blazers fan, Favorite Blazer, and Favorite Blazer Moment.
