Some of us are working FAMSTranslation: "would love to know how to use the forum search function"
Would love to see old posts from here the day Dame worked out for us.
Ed Davis is much better finisher and rebounder than Adebeyo. How will Adebeyo's "explosiveness" serve him well? He's not gonna be dunking/shooting consistently over NBA Cs.Adebayo is more explosive than Davis and offers more versatility defensively. You can comfortably put him on an island on the perimeter. I also think he has some untapped upside offensively, but that part is just a theory.

You're also acting like its certain Adebeyo will be a good defender, which I'm not sure about. Cs could be scoring over him at will. Who knows of his defensive IQ is good enough to be a good NBA defender, or if he will solely rely on strength and "explosiveness" (which will get him in trouble because he won't have as much of an advantage in those areas.).
Ed Davis is his ceiling. I don't think Adebeyo has more raw potential based off athleticism but he'll probably never close to being as smart of a player as Davis.
I never said "pushed around" now did I?"Not gonna be dunking over NBA centers"
"Centers will be scoring over him at will."
Just how small do you think Bam is? Not only does he have an NBA ready body as a 19 year old, he also has the frame to put on more size, something Davis never had. He's not going to get pushed around just because he gives up a couple inches in height. His length and explosiveness (an example of how it serves him) makes up for it.
I never said "pushed around" now did I?
I also said centers COULD be scoring over him at will.
Don't quote me if you're not gonna get it right.
Ike is the guy who reminds me more of Biyombo, I think Bam has more offensive potential than BiyomboBam reminds me too much of Biyombo, who I don't want either. Is that comp incorrect?

No it doesn't. I'm skinny and 6'5. If a strong, 6'2 guy guarded me, I could easily score over him in the post. I'm not gonna be "pushing him around" though. See the difference? So getting scored on at will doesn't equal to being pushed around? Whatever you say.

Just trying to educateWhatever you say Jay.
Of all potential draft/stash prospects for the Blazers, this would probably be the most palatable to most Blazer fans.Bolden info from another site:
"Bolden played this season for Red Star development team FMP, essentially like their dleague team. From what i know, they had an option to sign him for 1st team prior the end of this season and they executed it few days ago.He has NBA outs each year so if he wants to join NBA team he can do it right away, this is just thinking ahead.
Bolden is flying today to USA for scheduled workouts and if he gets drafted by team that want him there for next season he will stay and that team will have to pay Red Star that buyout cash ~650k $.If team decides to stash him for next season or two, he will likely return to Red Star where he will play in Euroleague."

This is completely circumstantial. What are the wingspans and standing reaches? No it doesn't. I'm skinny and 6'5. If a strong, 6'2 guy guarded me, I could easily score over him in the post. I'm not gonna be "pushing him around" though. See the difference?
I think if you're not a consensus draftee, you take any workout you can get, and the Blazers are letting most everyone who wants to come in for a visit. But yeah, it's pretty clear that Bryant and Swanigan are the primary prospects here today.Hmmm. Justin Robinson only 5'8", Kobi Simmons not even starting for his team at the end of the year, Justin Robinson unranked in any mock (but I do like that his best games are against the better teams). Cleveland seems the most interesting but it concerns me when a SG is only 66% on free throws. Are these guys auditioning for the summer league team?
Agreed, although this is how we ended up signing Luis Montero.I think if you're not a consensus draftee, you take any workout you can get, and the Blazers are letting most everyone who wants to come in for a visit.
