Blazers... Snow... Portland...AARRGGHHH!

you can mount a hotguy on the hood of your car and snort the blow off his choad

I’m starting to believe the guy with a flame thrower on top of his car was not so crazy after all. And he wouldn’t need to buy chains to drive in Portland.

The tail pipes 4’ above the car would eliminate the problem of snow blocking the exhaust, and blowing up the engine.

This guys knows something, bet he works for some secret government agency.

OUCH! Hearing reports that the Cavs landed in PDX at 5:15am but Blazers had to land in Seattle at 3am & bus down.

so the cavs were stuck at the airport while the blazers were sleeping on the bus.

I am curious why they didn't just fly into Redmond (OR) airport and bus from there, would have been a shorter flight, and a shorter bus ride.

Redmond?

Can you even land a commercial jet there?

Drive over Mt Hood in a major snow storm?

This sounds like the start of a Misery sequel, Blazer team bus slides off road. Lillard wakes up in strange cabin. @BigGameDamian looking down at him, a strange smile on his face. "Hi Dame, I'm your biggest fan...."

YUP
at that time it wouldn't have been that bad over the mountain, all they needed to do was commit to a plan to do that and they would have been ahead of the storm pretty easy

The storm was dropping snow before the game in LA even started. They would have needed a flux capacitor to get a head of it.

ahhhaa, didn't know that. I still find it crazy how unprepared Portland is for this type of weather.

Most major cities, especially those with hills, are unprepared for 8-12 inches of snow dumped in a short period of time.

well yeah, even when they are prepared, theres just not a lot of places to put 12" of snow in major cities. but as far as commuting i can speak on boston, they can get a foot in the morning and by the drive home the highway will be pretty much cleaned up. most of the major roads as well. i think they dump a bunch the snow in the river and harbor.
