Probably smoke screen or option Z. It was said by D Aldridge that these deals go back and forth like this is normal; it's just that twitter makes the rumors more public. Sometimes teams will toss out a bone, just to get people or other teams to not focus on the actual deal we want. We are talking about a team that really doesn't have a GM so anything is possible.

Isn't Josh a 3? I don't recall seeing him ever play SG. And aren't there some character issues too? This doesn't make sense to me.

If Blazers do trade Wallace as the start of a partial rebuild, then why would you pull in Howard? He doesn't fit in age-wise or contract-wise for a rebuild.

I think we have a GM. I don't see a drop off from Cho to Chad. Is that saying much? No but for all intents and purposes, we do have one.
