OKC looked far more aggressive, and the blazers settled for jumpers. What else you wanna know?

I think the difference between this team making the playoffs and being really bad, is 2 players.

and those 2 players would be on the bench.

If the team somehow got a legit backup PG and SG/SF combo guy, they'd be decent. Without those positions, they're going to be a lot of long long nights.

It's a lot better than last season, imho. A lot of us are pretty philosophical about it this year. Yeah we have some lower-talent players, ut things look hopeful on the PGOTF front.

It felt like that's what he was doing tonight a bit... the bench stayed in the game with Lillard in the 4th quite a long time... like pre-season game long.

Oddly, I feel more optimistic than I have in years about this team. No more bullshit head games from a coach who doesn't know shit about offense, finally a bonafide point guard, no more kvetching and wringing our hands about when that certain seven footer is ever going to be healthy.

If it was me I would just waive Nolan, I really liked Karl but do realize he is not the future, but then again neither is Nolan, Karl was a helluva lot more fun to watch and he could run the team

Lillard could have easily had 10 assists tonight, kinda crazy you have to really pay attention to see his rookie mistakes.

I love Lillard. I understand Batum having a bad shooting night, but one rebound? For having a rep as a good defender, Pavlovic does not defend well. Babbit reacts very slowly on transition defense.
