Not til Monday? Sounds like they are stalling for Conley.
 
Well it is a mystery to me why Portland is going to spend big bucks on Parsons.
Looks like a gimpy replacement for Meyer Leonard and not that good on the boards.
What the heck am I missing?

Not sure. Stein reported that. Maybe it was pre arranged and he is honoring it because of his relationship with his past coach. Hopefully he cancels it.

I dunno.
He's a higher profile player than any of our small forwards and at least with Houston was good enough to deserve it.
Im guessing we'd have Crabbe as his backup with Montero as our 3rd sf and would play Harkless at the 4 with Meyers, Aminu and maybe Alexander.
I think this might work. We could use an upgrade at Center, mainly a better inside scorer but perhaps we could get one for cheap (hence, the Gasol rumor). And maybe management thinks with a healthy Meyers we'd have a stronger inside rotation anyway

I'm afraid with this move, Harkless is history. Crabbe will stay but Harkless got interest from a lot of teams with capspace today

Keep in mind Parsons weights in at 230. He is versatile and can play some 4.
If we get him I can see a Dame, CJ, Crabbe, Parson's closing unit. (With a center yet tbd)

Harkless is RFA. Blazers can match any offer, and probably should up to a point. There's a benefit to being well over the cap vs. just over. But our next FAs will be signed with exceptions.
