If we could get Parsons/Whiteside without losing Crabbe/Harkless, I would be thrilled.

If Olshey finds a way to get parsons and whiteside/Howard while keeping crabbe and Harkless I will fly to Portland and kiss him my damn self.
Didn't we just draft him? How many handsome dudes do we need?
I'm not usually the type to say stuff like this.. But why is it seemingly only (or just mostly) white players that people call handsome?

We extended the QO to Leonard already, doesn't that mean we can't renounce him?Renouncing our free agents, or renouncing just Leonard and then trading Aminu+Plumlee for picks.
I can't imagine anyone is going to max Parsons after two serious knee injuries

is that because he wants out, or because the Mavs want him out?

The reason why he has "no chance" to go back to Dallas is because he's demanding the Max.
Dame is handsome.
Dame, Hendo, and Hark are all handsome. CJ is cute in a goofy way... Aminu is an ugly mofo.
AND Dallas is trying to land both Whiteside and Conley, they can't afford Chandler as wellCool. Doesn't mean he's gonna get it.

Yeah but people don't say that very often, whereas it's the go to "joke" for a ton of white players. Meyers gets it all the time, I've seen several mentions of Layman being good looking and we only drafted him a week ago, and now Parsons. Maybe I just don't notice when people say it about black players but I'm pretty certain it's disproportionate.

In order to make their free agent a restricted free agent, a team must submit a qualifying offer to the player between the day following the last game of the NBA Finals and June 30. The qualifying offer is a standing offer for a one-year guaranteed contract, which becomes a regular contact if the player decides to sign it. This ensures that the team does not gain the right of first refusal without offering a contract themselves.
A team may relinquish its right of first refusal, making the player an unrestricted free agent. If a qualifying offer is outstanding, the team can withdraw it unilaterally through July 23. It can be withdrawn after July 23 if the player consents, in which case the player is also renounced as a free agent.

It's probably because we're mostly white here. Also, pretty-boy players rend to be white, and tend to be middling players, so you focus more on the fact that they have Beiber hair or whatever.
From all the stuff that's coming out, 16-18 is Bazemore and Crabbe range. Parsons is better than those guysParsons in the $16M-18M range I could stomach. $18M+ doesn't feel like a bargain.

Why would he opt out to take a contract that's the same size
