Blazers are set to sign Jevonte Cook to their final 2 way spot. Cooke played for the Blazers during the preseason on an exhibition 10 contract before being waived. This will fill Portland's roster at 18 spots (15 regular roster spots, and three two ways).

horrible signing. This makes Cronin one of the worst gms in the league.

Ha

Not a good one, but not the end of the world. Neither he or out other 2 way Sidy Cissiko played well at all during the preseason.

Sidy was at least passable as an NBA talent.

Not sure I could say the same for Cooke, Love, or Rupert.

Rupert lead the team in 3pt shooting in preseason. He was 2nd to Murray in total FG percentage.
Of course the reason for this is he only played 10 mintes per game and barely shot the ball. But isn't that what his role will be in regular season?

Love put up 16 points twice in the preseason.

Although important, there's more to the game than just scoring....

Love is a good scorer. He likes the 'big' shots and I'd trust him to make those. However, in the other parts of his game - he makes more mistakes than not.
I see the flicker of potential in Rupert that the Blazers do... but he's SO far away from being a positive impact player, that I don't think he's ever going to make it.

Guy will be asking if I want my fries supersized by the end of the month. End of thread FAMS!
