I think it'll be GBIII unless we make another move in the next 9 minutes.Don’t we still have one more player then allowed? Someone needs cut.
Live shot of Jody

Someone help me: did we trade any seconds in this deal?
We traded 1 second
Woof!I like Winco.
Bench has no proven shooters. These changes are lateral at best. But what are you gonna do. Some owners/GMs swing for the fences; go all in. POR just doesn't have what it takes to do that. They need two additional players better than Grant and then things get interesting.
At least we still have 3 to 8 SRPs coming our way...

They might be right. They have probably watched jhim play which is more than I can say. He's tall and reputed to be a defender and said to be intense and a very hard worker.Torey and Eric are saying that there's reports that he's a piece of shit. Not a good dude. I don't have a link.
But not on rebounding.I'm a hoops ignoramus, but it seems to me that Thybulle is a pretty good replacement for Hart, at least on defense.
Hmm, another RFA this off-season....
2 RFAs, if I am not mistaken.
Yeah thats why I said another.
For the rest of the season I think biggest priority is for one of these guys to show they are starting quality:
Sharpe
Nas
Cam
Thybulle
Knox
To show they're starting worthy. At the very least the practices should be competitive....
We need to see what we have with Reddish and Thybulle.Sharpe is the only one that needs to be spoon fed minutes. We know what Nas is, what he is paid and that means there is no issue with him being a bench guy. Cam is the biggest what-if of these guys, you want to see if he can be a designated scorer of the bench. You know what MT is, great defender, will always have a place in the NBA on that side of the ball. Not likely to be much more than this, if he can shoot a little better, he can be a starter in the Josh Hart mold. Knox, frankly, I have very little hope for, but he is a slightly bigger body, so that's OK for this team.
We need to see what we have with Reddish and Thybulle.
Why? I think its clear we wont bring them back. Just needed the $ off the books so we can duck tax next yr.We need to see what we have with Reddish and Thybulle.
You keep saying we're going to be trying to duck the tax again next year. Why? Since we are getting out of the repeater territory this year, isn't it expected that we start spending again? Is this just Jody hate (if so, I get the frustration)? Why? I think its clear we wont bring them back. Just needed the $ off the books so we can duck tax next yr.

The moves were very clearly motivated by saving $Really? You don't think we'd bring them back if they played well?
Why else did we trade for everyone who is gonna be a FA this summer? We got rid of GPs contract. We didn't want Wiseman. What else could it be? Surely its not cuz we think Knox and Reddish have untapped potential, because thats even worse. You keep saying we're going to be trying to duck the tax again next year. Why? Hart was going to be gonna be a FA so what's the difference? Wiseman is shit, so we didn't want him. I don't know enough about Knox and Reddish to say there, but why does that equate to us dodging the tax next year? I don't understand. Why else did we trade for everyone who is gonna be a FA this summer? We got rid of GPs contract. We didn't want Wiseman. What else could it be? We got a pick for Hart.Hart was going to be gonna be a FA so what's the difference? Wiseman is shit, so we didn't want him. I don't know enough about Knox and Reddish to say there, but why does that equate to us dodging the tax next year? I don't understand.

We coulda had Bey even if you didn't want Wiseman.
I will bet anything we dont bring any of Thybulle, Reddish, Knox back. No contracts going past this summer. Writing is on the wall.
They know they will have to pay out the nose to keep Grant so they are structuring tbe books to avoid tax next yr. It's exactly what they did last yr with Nurk/simons deals coming up.
