I'm not going to comment on Scoot's ceiling, I just am prepared to bet he's valued far more by our FO than any prospective trade partners

I love how some of you are talking about maybe this means something else is happening when we’ve seen time and time again that something like this will be “the move”.

Are we getting a replacement because we are trading other players for Giannis? Or are we going to wake up after the deadline scratching our heads because this is it?

To be honest I think it’s more likely that this is insurance and maybe a bad sign for Deni’s injury status going forward this season than it is a sign that something else is in the works.

Jrue has missed time, Scoot is out, Deni has been battling the back issues.

Hate to sound like a pessimist but I think this move for backcourt depth might speak more towards our injuries with our backcourt players than it does about more moves happening before the deadline.

There are players worth Camara and Shae, but I doubt they are available. And they should not mortgage the future for someone like Giannis, who might walk after a year.....unless they think that is what is left can win a championship. (and I personally don't think they do)
