Having too many live streams on the main channel hurts the algorithm for how the channel and videos are recommended so our twice weekly live shows we put on a 2nd channel.nice! I clicked on this link. Why two channels though?
Didn't find an efficient enough way to do it and also kinda forgot to be honest. Why did you guys stop posting the audio-only links on Spotify?
Or are they available somewhere and I'm missing it?
Has to do with the YouTube algorithm for the most part.nice! I clicked on this link. Why two channels though?
Blazers Uprise Live tonight will discuss some of the trades that have happened in our Blazers Uprise Mock Off Season and if there is any chance of the Blazers making a similar move in real life. Come join us for some crazy trade talk.
You don't have to over pass or run the shot clock out to have a good offense. It's about improving the quality of the shots from off ball movement and passing, not passing a bunch just to do it.It would be nice also to talk to the dude with the full beard about "Not good shots I want great shots". Of course you can find a better shot. But there is a thing called a shot clock which both of you seem to leave out of the conversation? You can keep passing to find a better shot but eventually that clock gets short. Eventually you lead yourself to what dame called "Bad defense vs bad shot" instead of a bad shot. 4 seconds left they don't have to worry about another pass.
We never said anything about Derrick Jones being a go to player in the clutch, not sure where that comes from. I think we all agree Dame should be the #1 option in those situations. Occasionally you can use him as a decoy for an open shot for someone else but yeah I want the ball in Dame's hands a the end of games.33:30 into this. "End of game situation" Damian Lillard is taking that shot. Both of you would be calling for Chauncy's head if they didn't have Lillard taking the last shot. Next in Line is CJ. Third option is Powell. It won't be Jones Jr. ever.
Certainly a possibility that they run it back, we'll see on this one. I think there is some pressure to shake it up.41:30 The Blazers will be running it back. You are going to get your wish. They might make a trade but i highly doubt (My opinion) you will see a trade before the trade deadline. Of course that will not mean much if they are more successful if they stay healthy. The Blazers have not had a healthy roster throughout a season for 3 years.
It would be a shame to trade CJ or Nurk or Rocco or Lillard for that matter without seeing them play healthy a full season and add Collins who we all hope could stay healthy.
These aren't videos they're livestreams. This was going to be long because it was big news. We did in fact talk about Nurk for quite awhile and who should be the backup center. This becomes the issue though. If we cover all the topics people want to talk about the shows go long. If we keep them short people get upset we didn't bring up certain things. We try and balance it as much as possible but during the off season there will be shorter videos in addition to the shows that cover specific topics. This video like all your video's are very long. I could not sit through it. Almost made it an hour. You guys never brought up Nurk, Kanter, and adding a quality second center off the bench. I assume you both realize Kanter is a good third option but that's it.
I certainly respect this opinion, but on our show and for me in particular we think the coach has a bigger impact than most people do. Sure, roster is important but the issues that have plagued the Blazers over the last 5 years or so are all fixable coaching issues, in my opinion. I want to eliminate as much of those issues as possible before fully giving up on the roster. Strictly from a basketball perspective I believe if the issues are going to be fixed that based on videos I've watched that Billups well at least try to fix them. No one is saying not to run PnR or spread the floor. They just can't continue to think the same offense and same defensive coverages work against every team. We're putting a lot on the new coach because it's really important that he does well.I might be wrong here but it looks to me like you are putting unrealistic expectations on a new coach. Watching a bunch of basketball and every team is spreading the floor and looking for cutters or threes. Every team is trying to run PnR when the mismatch or coverage allows it. Lillard doesn't run much but he might pick up the pace.
The fixes you are looking for need to come from the GM. Olshey will give this roster a few tweaks and see what this coach will do and if they can stay healthy. Billups will have done very well if he can make the playoffs and get past the first round.
My pleasure. It was fun.First of all, thanks for watchin
Agree. They got to move the ball more for sure. It's about improving the quality
I think i picked up the Jones part and ran with it to make a point. My bad. Point was more that we have one of the best if not the best clutch closer in the game. I want the ball in his hands. Gotta trust him to make a shot or find an open shooter. If he finds a great shot for a guy wide open we all have to live with that. I know I'm good with that.We never said anything about Derrick Jones being a go to player in the clutch,
I'm with you on this one. I want to see it just to see what happens at least until the trade deadline. The end of Stotts was hard to watch. There could be some growing pains for 20-30 games with a new coach.Certainly a possibility that they run it back, we'll see on this one.
Ask as many questions as you want.My pleasure. It was fun.

I understand if you cover everything there is nothing left. I also understand you got to run your show. Don't mind me. I can wait.
Lets just hope Chauncy comes out swinging and does a bang up job. Might be one heck of a fun season.
You guys have a good one also. There is more basketball talk on here than in the other threads. I'll keep asking questions if you will keep answering.
Are you the one with the bad beard? Just kidding.Hello friends (and foes!)
I know a lot of you are familiar with this but in case you're not, me and @hoopsjock have a YouTube Channel that is aiming to bring you Blazer fans some focused, interactive, in-depth coverage of the NBA draft and free agency.
We'll be livestreaming both events in full on draft day and during the entire first day of free agency, if any of you are interested in joining us! We strive to bring a full knowledge of the league and the CBA so that we can explain why things are happening in real time. We're hoping we have some big moves to cover! If not, expect some anger directed Neil Olshey's way, as we don't hold back from displaying our passion as die-hard Blazer fans.
We've also been dropping videos to prepare for the off-season looking at potential trade targets if you're interested in those as well.
Here are the times (PT) we'll be going live for each stream:
July 29th @ 4:00PM - NBA Draft Stream
August 2nd @ 2:00PM - NBA Free Agency Stream
Channel Link - https://www.youtube.com/c/blazersuprise
Thanks!
No, that's @hoopsjock!Are you the one with the bad beard? Just kidding.
