Frankly I think they are lucky to be 1-3 at this point. I mean, look at the fucking schedule; it's not like they're losing to Minny, OKC, and Milwaukee (at least not yet) so try to take the "results" with a fat grain of salt and try to remember that we're minus two starters. That's not hype, that's just realism.

I think it's sad to be 0-2 in games you've lead by double digits.

It's still very early, so I'll try to stay a little more calm. But I feel like I watching the same team as last year that was supposed to have learned from last year.

There's enough talent on the team to see results. Anything else is just excuses.

You have an all star in Roy and borderline all star in Aldridge, with good complimentary players like Rudy/Przy/Outlaw.

I'm tired of excuses. Show me something or stop hyping it up.

I think that Roy is a borderline all-star, and Aldridge is not any kind of all star. If Roy makes the all-star game this year I will be shocked.

That you've been caught up in hype isn't really the players' fault.

Roy's not playing like an All Star. Not even close. I doubt he'll make it this year. Parker and DWill and Manu deserve to get a spot over Roy unless he really turns it on and gets us some wins.

In a combined 71 minutes Steve and Brandon had a combined 9 assists.

Sergio had 3 in 7 minutes.

That's 30 assists per 71 minutes.

Plus Rudy and Travis play so much better with him.

The bench did us in tonight. Look at the box score:

Batum +12.

Rudy and Outlaw about -17 while in. Also note, they were in a lot together.

Batum didn't play in the 4th, Blazers lose.

Wake up Nate.

The lineup I want to see:

Roy
Rudy
Batum
Lamarcus
Pryzbilla

:pimp:

Statistically Aldridge is close to an all star. Lower level all star anyways.

Yep. The schedule has been BRUTAL and we should probably be 0-4.

We all knew the schedule was going to be very, very difficult to start the year, and that was before we knew we weren't going to have Oden or Webster.

I'm not surprised that some people are fretting here, but neither am I surprised we're not winning these games.

Agreed.. I had a feeling we wouldn't have a winning record when the season began, but being in the moment now and seeing we're 1-3..... IT SUCKS.

Which is why I'm upset with Roy and said I don't like his passive ways. Why Blake and Outlaw are taking the shots in the 4thq down the stretch, I don't know.

I agree, Roy should turn it on. He needs to. He goes in and out of aggressiveness way too much and I think it hurts the team.

If this team was 3-1 instead of 1-3 I'd almost bet everything I own that you'd be posting about how awesome he looks. I'm not saying that Brandon is playing like an all-star by any stretch of the imagination (yet) this year, but despite his subpar FG% (~40-ish percent) he's putting up decent numbers, just not mind blowing numbers.

Maybe we need to see some Jerryd Bayless early in the game or in the second quarter, and see what he can do. Let's see if he can make a Batum-like impact.

The sets are fine, but everybody with a "boo" in their voice hated Jarrett Jack, which is ironic since many of the same people are now calling the team soft (which Jack wasn't) and unable to get to the rim (Jack's specialty, even if he turned it over).

I'm not saying you were in this camp, BTW, but I love the armchair complainers who post similar things.

Getting to the hoop, drawing fouls, and cashing in at the line, is one of those skill sets people just don't appreciate anymore.

Of course, Bayless could be a superior version of Jack....but he seems to be buried in Nate's doghouse or something. :dunno:

How does Nate lose Batum on the bench, in the 4th quarter??

LMA is a PF who is averaging about 4 rebounds a game. That is nowhere near All Star numbers.

I'm talking about coming into the season. There's no reason to think LMA should be worse than last year.
