Blazers v. Atlanta Game Thread

If we did that, once they stopped it, people would just complain that we went to it for too long, and Nate was stupid to keep doing the same thing over and over. Especially if they stopped it at an important time of the game.

Um, no, if they kept doing it, then either Atlanta adjust and gets somebody else on our team an opportunity to score, or he keeps scoring and the Blazers win. Then nobody is bitching, because we won.

Oden turned the ball over 2 times in the first 8 minutes of the game. :dunno:

I am trying to piece together what that has to do with not going to Aldridge after he had 14 first half points and then not going to him in the second half.

Ask the guards. That said, watching last night's game, I have to say Oden played his worst game of the road trip. When Zaza Pachulia outrebounds him in 14 less minutes, it just isn't a great game for Oden. He didn't play poorly, but he didn't dominate the opposing C, as he has been doing consistently lately (when he stays on the court).

Yes he did. TO's will be a problem until he gets more comfortable with the ball. His two TO's were passing. He threw it over Blanky's head, and threw a bad pass to Miller under the basket. He was absolutely doing the right thing, just executed it poorly. Isn't it fair to say that he would only get better at that with more reps? I honestly think that come playoff time we would be a much better team with our offense working from the inside out, rather than from the outside in
