BTW, Nolan Smith is already the third best Portland PG in the last 5 years. :D
 
All this time we thought Babbut was a 3 point shooter and he is really a just a post player. :)

Wow Babbit doesn't look too good. Why is he even out there? Will he even get any burn?

Tell me about it. They described that our starting 5 played together for a long time. Wallace came to Portland mid season and Felton just joined the club.

I thought our announcers were homers.
 
I am really impressed with Chris Johnson. A hard hat type player. Nothing spectacular but will work for his paycheck.
 
I think Matthews and Crawford looked pretty awesome. Thomas was surprisingly good. This maybe a good season.

He is a no-name player who hustles for a small-town team. He'll be foul-plagued as his minutes increase.

There is no room for him there. It's obvious why we drafted him and he isn't doing his job. So we give up Aldridge looks in the paint for Babbit? Yeah I don't think so.

Regardless, hustle and garbage play is what we need. It's not like we need him to play significant minutes. 5-10 would be sufficient.

I think he's playing more tonight than he will normally... His minutes will only *decrease*.

Maybe ... But how about this, don't try to extrapolate anything from a single pre-season game to the regular season and just enjoy it for what it is? It's a glorified scrimmage against a baby Jazz team.

It doesn't hurt us to have players with multiple skills.
