Blazers Vs Clippers preseason Game thread

If our starters end up with a better than average bench, then a title shot is very possible.

From the way it sounds, all the starters needed last year was to be a lot more fresher come the second round. If that is the case, if the bench can give these guys consistent and reliable minutes all season long. Come playoff time, the starters should be just as fresh as the other 15 teams starters.

Thomas Robinson stepped up big in the playoffs...can you imagine Leonard or Freeland affecting the game in the same way? They might hit some jump shots if the defense leads them wide open, but they won't really make plays.

He's had a couple of nice plays tonight. But Thomas needs to pick it up.

In my opinion, we shouldnt still be discussing "Whose option are we going to pick up" or "Who will be first off the bench".

We will have a bench as long as our young guys can be somewhat consistent. If they can't be, then we are still better than last year I guess but that's not saying much.

Mainly because we as fans are still discussing whose option are we going to pick up or who will be the first off the bench. Thomas should be beyond this IMO.
