OK, good shot there, but you really don't remember his time in POR? He routinely screwed up in the clutch. I remember a playoff game vs HOU when BRoy fouled out and we needed a shot, and Blake chucked up a contested, running 30 footer with plenty of time on the clock. This sorta stuff happened way too often from what I remember.

Oh man that made me so mad. I had repressed that memory.

CJ is a great interview. Smart guy. Smart players are good players.

There used to be a video of just that shot, but I found a video that does have it.

Such a horrible shot. 11 seconds left on the clock. Rudy had just hit a clutch three to get us back into the game. I was so mad.

In Steve's defense, that was a horribly coached team and he was given far too much lee-way and power over what was happening.

Looking back, I can say I never really liked that teams play. Had Nate McMillan as the coach for far too long.

Nate would have been fired rather quickly if not for Brandon Roy. Unfortunately or fortunately, Roy was so good that he made McMillan look better than he was. He would run those horribly predictable iso sets that were easy to stop, but Roy would go off and we would still win. The smart teams would just double Roy off the pick and roll and we would flail about and take a bad shot.

I forgot how bad Travis Outlaw was...

Those horribly predictable iso sets were statistically the most efficient play all season long.
