Not sure if serious or not but anyways, it is a contract to play in G League but still hold rights to the player. NBA expanded rosters to 17 this year with two in G League.

The bearded Mexican PG looks like a decent player as well. I'd like to see him on our pre-season roster.

I trashed him for not being able to put together a summer league team that could play around our guys that need touches, IE Collins, Swanigan, Layman, and Patty.

Collins and Patty aren't playing anymore. Gutierrez getting minutes seemed to really help, and Hunter sliding over to the off guard position. Swanigan doesn't need a point guard. He's a hustle guy, but Collins could have really used someone running plays instead of ratball.
