That is the perception I got too. Not a jerk, but not someone busting it like Wesley Matthews. While his mentality may be good to weather a rough 82 game season, I think you have to have multiple players that are insanely driven to win.

I'll go on the record for saying, this is probably the hardest I'll root for the Blazers all year. I've grown to like ya'lls team after posting on this forum for a while, but there's not a team in the league I dislike as much as the Knicks.

There's nothing more annoying than the New York fans, the New York media, and the New York state of mind, that just because the Knicks are semi-decent, they've got to dominate the headlines 24/7.

I'm sure Portland fans can relate, because if ya'll beat them tomorrow, the headlines and subject matter won't be, "Are the Blazers a playoff team?" Instead, it'll be, "What's wrong with the Knicks?"

Sounds like Eastern fans view the Knicks the way Western fans view the Lakers....no, not even close.

The only thing that sucks........ Game is on TNT so unless you are at the game, you aren't going to see the team intros and hear the greeting Big Ray is going to get.

I didn't ask which day of the year was Leif Ericson Day. I asked which day we "celebrate" Leif Ericson Day.

It's funny though, if you think about it. We don't celebrate LE Day, but yet, it's just before Colombus. Kinda like how LE discovered America before Columbus, and we celebrate Columbus as though he discovered America.

Then, of course, Amerigo Vespucci doesn't even get a special day.
