Very nice response in the second quarter, now step on their necks in the third when their legs go wobbly

Great half by Portland. Well played basketball, with running, and a lot of Batum and Aldridge inside.

Nobody with a negative +/- thus far. Which means we'll probably win the championship 4 out of 5 times.

This Thunder team looks nothing like I saw last year defensively. Makes me wonder if they're missing their assistant who was in charge of their scheme (who's now in Chicago).

I love that we're pushing the ball and being aggressive. This just feels like a completely different team this year with Camby, Matthews, Johnson, and a healthy Batum. Not to mention Aldridge is playing like a different man.

If we beat the Heat in the Finals, it will all be about the Heat blowing it. They won't even show us the presentation of trophy. It'll just be interviews with Wade and LeBron.

Chuck would love the Blazers if someone would just send him some Voodoo Donuts.

Hmmmm

Portland finished higher in the standings last year, right?

Portland has a better record this year, right?

Portland is actually ahead at half time, right?

Why isn't Barkley mentioning we got a TON of easy baskets, the kind he says we don't get?

Yeah, they'd just cut to the Kemper Open at halftime of game 7.

I guess what we're doing isn't that impressive. The Clippers did it.

This is just a better, smarter team IMO. Matthews is a much better bench scorer than either Webster or Bayless, Armon runs the offense and puts actual pressure on the ball without fouling, and they just feel like they've got some nice balance going on.

EDIT:
I'll freely admit I thought this team was going to really struggle with chemistry and they seem to have put that to rest, they've been playing really unselfishly.

Definitely. I'm most impressed with Johnson's defense. Bayless was always just really aggressive, but not smart about how he defended. Johnson has the aggression, but he's smart about it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Harden might be a bust

Because it's not about the Blazers getting easy baskets it is about the Thunder defense and the how they need big men.

I can't believe the whole halftime and no talk about the Blazer team . . . wow.

I wonder what kind of gum Andre Miller chews? Im thinkin Doublemint.

God I love when Miller makes young guys look like idiots.
