Although, if Miller is going to be a part of the 2nd unit, which he should be, I guess I don't mind him firing up shots if Rudy isn't available.

Outlaw and Miller should be taking the shots on this second unit right now, so I am being to hard on Miller tonight.

Miller 3-7 in the first half. Leading the team in shots again w/2 assists and 2 TOs.

:dunno:

I am LIVID. WHY is he leading us in shot attempts???? Why in God's green earth?? That is not his role. Fuck.

What question?

Apparently this poster thinks that your opinion is that Miller shouldn't be allowed to shoot.

It's a strawman argument and not at all what you said, but whatever. He's stuck on it, so amuse him.

He truly is in regular season form, making dumb plays and allowing his man to torch us.

Outlaw is only -3 so far tonight.

Miller and Bayless are embarrassing themselves, however.

I was just about to point this out, so I'm glad you caught that. Miller didn't attempt a shot when he was briefly in with the starters, and when he's playing with our bench players minus Rudy, he's both the sole playmaker and the #1 option on offense.

I don't expect to see a line-up with only 1 out of Andre/Roy/LA/Oden (and maybe Rudy) on the floor barring injuries.

He's also leading in minutes (14)... maybe that's why? He's averaging a shot every two minutes... that's every 2 or 3 possessions. Also, Webster's 0-3. Miller's definitely the offensive focus for the 2nd group.

Ha! Sergio with 7 points, 11 assist and 3 steals in a Kings win, he finally got off the bench!:drumroll:

Why is Miller not allowed to shoot?

Because we have enough offensive weapons on this team. We need him to facilitate and make the players around him better. Sure, he can shoot but he shouldn't be leading us in FG attempts. That is ridiculous. And that is why he won't start. Blake will. Blake knew his role in the first quarter. Get the ball to Roy, LMA, and Oden and let them do their thing. Batum knows this too. And that is why they will start. Maybe Miller thinks he needs to score a bunch to get moved into the starting lineup. That's not the way it will get done though. He should be focused on getting easy baskets for Joel, Travis, Juwan, and eventually, Rudy. If he plays with any of the Big 3, he shouldn't look to shoot at all. Just get them the ball.

Waiting KingSpeed.

It is likely you will always be waiting. Or at the most you'll get a random "Learn the game, then post. CHECKMATE!" after he throws his obvious answer of "BECAUSE OUTLAW IS 3-3 HE SHOULD BE SHOOTING MORE" at you.

What the fuck are you talking about? What is the fucking question? Is it his question about Miller? I answered it. You're so presumptive.

Don't be. Roy, Aldridge and Oden didn't even play in the second quarter. Miller (who has logged the most minutes of any players for the Portland side) has played most of his time without any of the big three, and given the lineups, Miller and Outlaw should be the first options. That is it. Should he watch the stat board as he playing and make sure he doesn't surpass Roy's shot attempts while Roy is sitting? No. He should just play the game and do what needs to be done based on the situation.

When the minutes are normal....this won't seem like such a big issue. Our rotation will be trimmed down for the real season. Just wait.

Why is Miller not allowed to shoot?

Of course, he's allowed but as a POINT GUARD, he shouldn't be leading us in attempts. He should be getting opportunities for his teammates. If he can't do that, then he won't start.

So you want one of the best PGs in the NBA limiting himself?

Tony Parker averages more shot attempts than Brandon Roy. Do you disagree with the way Parker plays?

He's not playing with the Big 3 because Nate doesn't want a ball hog out there taking all the shots.

Parker is one of the top 3 scoring options on his team. Andre Miller is not. Parker has to score for his team to win. We already have three great scores in LMA, Roy, and Oden. Miller has to stay out of their way and play his role. Facilitate and guard his man.

I used to go to Nets games and sometimes Kidd wouldn't score at all to til the third quarter. I swore one night that he was going to finish with 0 points & 20 assists. That's the kind of unselfishness we need from Miller on a nightly basis. Look at Blake. 0-1, 4 assists, 0 turnovers. That's what we need out of our PGs on THIS team.
