Can’t wait for the overreactions no matter what happens. Me, I’m just looking to get a glimpse of Brown in an actual game and seeing which of the training camp invites stand out, if any.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Dame didn’t even play.

Yep pretty much looking forward to seeing everyone who is new plus Nas and Ant. But yes people will overreact when they are all in there together. Like that will ever happen in a regular-season game that is not a blowout.
 
I won't see much of this game if the Raiders/Chargers game is any good
 
Any word on who’s playing and who’s sitting?

Most likely. They want you to watch Root. TNT Thursday is the only broadcast that supersedes a Root Broadcast. I always hate when its on TNT Thursday because you can't watch the homeboys, & the 1st game (especially if Boston is involved), always runs over.
 
Obviously not going to see the full playbook tonight, but I'll watching out for new stuff added since SL

In Vegas they primarily ran delay and pistol / 21 action on the secondary break. Some double drag ball screens as well (hands together is the signal)

Half court sets we saw a lot "away" which is just a staggered pin down (signaled by a point to the weakside). More double drag as well.

Out of timeouts is where we saw some more motion based sets. Typically a handoff with the corner and a swing pass to the weakside. From there they would get into their delay slash stuff or if it was a ball handler catching it is they'd flow into a step up screen with weakside big.

The also had some nice motion sets out of horns with a diver and popper then flowing into either delay or that handoff to a swing pass I talked about earlier.

Defensively should be interesting too. Are we up at the level and dropping from there? Is the big giving a couple slides and recovering? Is the low man pulling over to the lane line or all the way to the mid line? Are we X'ing out for there or just tagging and recovering?

I've heard Dallas is messing around with "x out" or "next" pnr coverage where if I'm understanding correctly, you've got your typical chase over by the guard and a dropping big and from there the nearest off ball defender pulls over to take the ball while the chasing guard x's out.

i very highly doubt that. He doesnt have near the skills joker has outside. Joker has way better balance.

plus i think they push Ant as the primary backup pg this season and so the ball will be in his hands. Plus Zeller needs work. Nurk wont play much the second half im thinking.
