I wanted to work with my father. He offered me peanuts. I told him that I could get more working for someone else. He said "Good, get a job there." I couldn't so I wound up working for him for peanuts.
I suggest you offer a small wage to your kids to work for you. If they decline, tell them to get a job elsewhere. See if they do.

My oldest kid is 4. She and the two year old do their chores as long as I guide them along lol. They dont like to work though. It was a joke and I forgot the green font.
