Rain, Jaeger win on final day of BMW Charity Pro-Am
The rain won.
So, too, did Stephan Jaeger.
Jaeger, who entered Sunday’s final round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am with a one-stroke lead, finished that way as well when the fourth round of the Web.com Tour event was washed out by rain and shortened to 54 holes.
“You want to get out there and you want to win a four-day event and get to 18 with a two-shot lead or a five-shot lead or whatever or birdie the last to win,” Jaeger said. “But at the end of the day, nobody’s going to care if I won a three-day event or a four-day event. All that matters is that it was a W.”
