Just read the ESPN New York News that Bobby Valentine appeared on WFAN on 9/11 saying that Yankee Players were AWOL in the initial days after the 911 attack. In accompaniment with the article was video in which Keith Oberman ripped on Valentine for his remarks. Valentine is probably still bitter over the '00 World Series. Run along little man, nobody will listen to you.

He has more class than to do so but I'm waiting for Joe Torre to respond and rip Valentine a new one. Not to mention what kind off scum bag uses the anniversary of 9/11 to point fingers and spew venom? Fine be proud of what you and the Mets did in response to 9/11. For what reason would you bring up the Yankees? It's not like the Yankees had said anything to minimize or criticize what Valentine and his team did. Frankly most people don't remember or care. When people reflect on that horrible tragedy Bobby Valentine and the Mets aren't coming to mind.
