I doubt he'll get more than a couple offers. And Rod will probably try to lowball him (rightfully so).

I thought he was for real by his play against Toronto last year, but I guess not. He has a good shot and he has some good explosiveness for his size, but he seems very inconsistent. I don't think he needs a Steve Nash type PG to set him up, but it's just confidence with him. He's a good player, but he'll probably be better off somewhere else.

I want him to stay. Worst comes to worse, he's a great bench option if Kobe or LeBron get injured for us.

I wouldn't mind bringing him back for a couple of (cheap) years if I felt Frank would be reasonable in his use of him (ONLY at the SF position and with a quick yoke if he's not hitting shots.) I have no confidence in that prospect, however, so I prefer not to give Frank the option at all.

First team to $4 million gets him, Dave D'Alessandro has written. Sounds about right. With another shooter on the court with him, and an effective big man, Nachbar is a good investment, but he is not Jason Kapono. While he did not shoot as well this season as he did last, he rebounded better and proved he could play a tough offensive game, willing to go to the hole. He compared his situation to Hedo Turkoglu two years ago. Could he become Hedo? Yeah, he probably could. Will he? I doubt it.

If the Nets don't sign him, who replaces him (at less than $4 million)? It won't be Pietrus, who made $3.5 million last year and wants more. Who else is there? If they get lucky in the draft, they could come away with a bargain but is that player going to be NBA-ready from Day 1? I doubt it.

He's a much better investment than Mikki Moore (five years older) who they offered $11 million over three. He's a much better investment than Jamaal Magloire who they gave $4 million to, emphasis on the gave.

ok, first of all, boki is one dimensional and throughout his career, has been a poor shooter. comparing him to hedo at this point and after the season hedo just had, just shows how much of a homer one can be.

second, screw boki. he is one dimensional, no midrange game, no handle, one of the worst defenders in the league, slow, flat footed, and contributes nothing else then an inconsistent 3 pt shot but i wouldnt be surprised if we overpaid for him. he's not good but thorn has a thing for those type of guys

Shooter or no, the sooner we get his flow killing turnovers out of here the better. We've squeezed this lemon for every drop we could get.

I definitely agree with Jizzy on Barnes. I love his effort, versatility, and i'd say he's a comparable shooter even if he's also a streaky guy.

House has tasted the good life no reason he'd come back here and Kelenna will be on everyones radar so we stand no chance.
