Damn you ok CC?

Yeah. That was last Sunday. I am good now. Was playing 2 on 2 in between our games and I had to play all the defense. One of the guys came down on my hip from a rebound. Bone bruise.

Imagine talking shit about someone shooting poorly in the rain, with a muddy ball, shooting uphill... Catch me in a real gym. I'll outshoot your shotput anyday.
We were at a covered court. No rain no mud.

I was gonna warn you guys about the court at Grout when I heard that is where you are playing but I got distracted with something else. I went to Grout in 3rd and 4th grade, and grew up playing basketball there. If you want a better covered court near there Abernathy near 13/14th and Division would be a better choice

Didn’t stop me from hitting a 35 footer.

Did you have fun?
I did! Wish i wouldve played better, but happy to say I was there an hour and a half and not even close to tired by the time I had to leave. I wish I had of given myself more time, but I ended up promising to take the kids for a while so my wife could get a break.

Its always fun meeting these guys we talk to on here regularly face to face. Im up to doing again whenever.

where did you guys play? I know Irving Park has a nice covered court.

Llewellyn Elementary School in the Westmoreland neighborhood has a covered court and it used to be in good shape.

I haven't hooped there in years, so I don't know what shape it's in now.

I think OB said he was not available this coming weekend. But still--assuming I've regained use of my legs by then (being old and out of shape sucks!), I could probably run again.
At least you decided to guard Hoopsjock, being a hobbit guarding a mountain is interesting. There's a reason Dragon's did the mountain guarding.
