I have never had problems separating Kobe's personal life from his career achievements. Dude has some freaky kinks that got him in trouble but I am not going to say he's isn't one of the greatest players. I just don't have to stand up when he plays in the Rose Garden and clap for his ass. I like Shaq's take in Kobe. He publicly lauds him as a great player, but do they hang and get beers? No. Probably not.

So I had a bad night last night. I'm not really that nasty and I know hate is a strong word. That said, I can't stand KB and I wish he'd retire yesterday.

Why doesn't anybody ever hiss? What if everybody started hissing at somebody (say Kobe). Is that like...Too harsh so nobody does it? Or is there always one guy or girl in the audience trying to hiss but nobody can hear it?

Your right hissing is a lost art. It probably it isn't loud enough at a basketball game. In a quiet theater or auditorium maybe.
 
Get over it guys. He hasn't beat us in a game that mattered in over ten years and the Lakers haven't been relevant for a while. Dude is a legend, and the game last night was fun to watch. Lots of respect for the guy and what he accomplished.
 
Crowd was way classy. We did nothing to take it easy on him He got booed every time he touched the ball, like he always has, but ... at the end of the game, he got a standing ovation and cheers. As a true competitor, Kobe said he wouldnt have had it any other way. Ive got respect for him on the court. And respect for the Blazers fans for giving him both deserving ends of cheers and boos.
 
Kobe tells us that we should hate him. Too late.
