Boozer 3-way still doable....

It actually would make a TON of sense for both NY and Utah.

NY rents Boozer for one year, replacing (or even upgrading) Lee without sacrificing their 2010 space (plus they will have his Bird rights, if nothing else pans out in FA).

It could make sense for Utah for three reasons:
1. If Lee is signed for less than Millsap (or to a bigger, but less 'toxic' deal).
2. If they prefer Lee to Millsap.
3. If they are convinced they couldn't dump Boozer without giving up more assets (e.g. NY pick).

It could also make sense for Utah if they thought Milsap wasn't really happy living in SLC, and therefore might not keep giving 100%.

Two reasons that doesn't make sense:
1. For the Knicks: Boozer and D'Antoni just don't fit. More importantly
2. For the Jazz: the Jazz have the Knicks' unprotected pick. They want the Knicks to suck as much as possible. With Boozer, the Knicks could be vaguely respectable.

Would the Knicks be anymore respectable with Boozer than Lee?

The difficulty in a Lee-Boozer swap is Lee would become BYC if he were to sign for a large deal, making matching salaries very difficult between the two teams.

Tim Thomas just got waived, so that kills one possibility.

The Bulls have been acting very odd since we signed Millsap to an offer sheet.

They have signed 2 more PG's in Pargo and Hunter, and now waived Tim Thomas.

Not really. They are just improving their team. Pargo will play SG for them, and Hunter is just a mentor to Rose, like last year. He doesn't play.

Thomas was never going to play anyways, so they might as well clear up a roster space.

Pargo is 6'1". If they signed him to play SG, they're fucked.
