Perhaps the poster should learn about
1) natural selection, what it is and isn't
2) the thousands, literally, of research articles on homosexuality/bixexuality/transgender in the animal world
3) the theories on inheritance of sexual orientation and how natural selection worked on the genetic tendency to homosexuality
4) the hundreds of thousands of gay men and lesbians who are parents, since you seem to think being gay and procreating are mutually exclusive

Honestly, I am also tired of people with no information saying they KNOW about something they don't know about. Whether being gay or cosmology or global warming or whatever. I mean, it isn't that hard to visit a library and learn a few things. Maybe I should be more charitable. But guess what? Homophobia is NOT genetic. So maybe someone should finally learn better.

Tell me, genius, did you, at some point, sit down and say, hmmm, am I going to decide to be gay or decide to be straight? Did you thoughtfully consider the relative advantages of being gay and being straight? Did you check out both and then decide what you liked better? Or did you know you were attracted to girls/women before you even lost your virginity, if you have? So why is it so fucking impossible to believe that LGBT people ALSO know from Day 1 who we are?

What about unicorns, though? Explain that one!

Yes, haven't you ever seen movies/tv shows where the lesbian couple ask their guy friend to impregnate them?

I've seen "Children of Men"; and the chaos that comes with humanity not being able to have children.

So then westnob. Do you think that "Natural Selection" promotes homosexuality?

For the love of God (no pun intended) TAKE A FUCKING CLASS! If you REALLY want to understand biology THERE ARE CLASSES. Don't ask people on internet basketball forums. But be warned: if you do, you might feel embarrassed that you ever asked questions like that.

Kinda what I thought. Puts this thread into perspective now.

Now, now. Let's not get huffy.

Why not bring it to a forum like this? There's a great cross section of people with differing opinions. It's educational in and of itself.

Besides, not all biology classes are alike- as evidenced by this thread. Get my drift?

LOL especially when it's not something I believe in. But some in this forum does. :MARIS61:

How do lesbian tigers ask male tigers to impregnate them? Are the male tigers rapists if they bone lesbian tigers? Or is the consent of the lesbian tigers assumed? Also, how do the lesbian tigers decide which one of them will have the baby? The teets get stretched out having a litter and the belly drops to the ground, so somebody must sacrifice their sexy tigress figure!

The honey badger don't give a fuck if you're straight or lesbian.

I do find the "homosexual animal" thing quite funny. Hell, I knew a kid in junior high who got his dick stuck in his cat when he had a friend over. His nickname was "Bobcat" (his first name was Bob) until his parents finally moved.

A monkey going stankhole on another male monkey just doesn't surprise me, nor do I find it gay considering teenage boys will stick their dicks in almost anything when the hormones are raging. Another kid allegedy got his dick stuck in a shampoo bottle, but that was always more of a rumor. Still, his name was Kurt, and everybody called him "Pert" for a while before it kind of went away. I still remember it, though.

repped! LOL

Remember the 'gay' penguins that made news the past few years? Looks like they brought in some new hot females, and they're back to boning chicks.

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/technol...ay-penguins-attracted-to-new-female-partners/

It looks like Buddy and Pedro, the Toronto Zoo’s “gay” penguins that captured hearts all over the world, may have moved on to new female mates.

The formerly inseparable pair are apparently warming up to their new female partners, the zoo said in a statement today, according to the Toronto Star.

Buddy was paired with a female penguin named Farai on Nov. 19 and exhibited typical breeding behavior. Pedro was set up with female penguins on Dec. 1 and has been interacting with them, but has not yet formed a solid bond, according to the Star.

The zoo drew public outcry in November when they announced that the male penguins would be separated and paired with female penguins for mating.

Buddy, 21, and Pedro, 10, lived in a zoo in Toledo, Ohio, before traveling to Canada to become part of the Toronto Zoo’s first African penguin exhibit in 18 years.

Zookeepers quickly observed courtship and mating behaviors that are typically exhibited only between males and females.

“When you put things in captivity, odd things happen,” Kevin McGowan of the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology in Ithaca, N.Y., told ABCNews.com. “The way penguins work is they do get paired for a long time. Basically, the only other penguin they care about is their mate, so it’s important for them to find somebody who’s compatible, and if you don’t have a normal upbringing then it’s difficult to say how ‘normal’ they can be.

Straight men couple up in prison. Straight penguins couple up in prison. I'm not sure why it was such a big story.

I don't care if there aren't a lot of women in this forum, I'm not coupling up with you.

Spend 24 hours a day for years locked in a cage with me, and you'll think I'm Brooklyn Decker, big boy.

So the question is how long did Mags have to lock his gf in a cage to get her to fall in love with him?

Legit. People are attracted to who they are attracted to. For example, guys are referred to as "ass men" breast men" legs men". There is a reason for that. I prefer brunettes with large breasts and taller than 5'6", while others might prefer short blondes with small breasts (oh who am I kidding? No one prefers small breasts) Anyway, I believe it is the same for people who are attracted to the same sex. While I don't understand how a man can look at another man's hairy ass and get aroused, I believe it's in their genetic make up that it does arouse them.

Nothing wrong with small breasts.

I don't get how women can look at a man and get aroused, but I don't deny that women do. Or so I've been told.

Bazinga!

I don't get how people who AREN'T gay, know how people who are gay, became gay.

Don't forget about gay tigers and gay penguins!

how about instead I just make fun of HCP and say I had sex with his wife and we'll call it a day.

It's clear that some people are born gay and some become gay (and in some instances go back to being straight). So, it's both - genetic and environmental/situational/emotional. No need to analyze it any further. Once you see it as a "both" situation the entire topic becomes gay........errrr.......irrelevant.

Educational like "the Real Housewives" is educational?

You don't believe in biology?

Tell you what: I would avoid the doctor from now on. After all, if you can "pray away the gay" you can pray away the broken leg/pneumonia/cancer. Or is medicine based on biology something you do believe in? Do you want your doctor taking the classes you won't take?

Wait so you are saying being gay is part of biology? That through evolution; the "gay genes" is a form of "natural selection". Okay explain this to me. Explain how "natural selection" endorses procreation through gay relationships. So eventually man and woman will have both genders? Can't wait to hear this!

Where's that facepalm emoticon when I need one, dagnabbit?
