Word is, that's where the Nyets might eventually be headed.

Whose word?

Nets are moving, they're moving to Brooklyn. They're not moving Russia.

If they move to russia in 10 years then another team will just emerge from brooklyn.

No NBA team is going to move to Russia. The rest of the NBA wouldn't play them. There might some day be a Europe division of the NBA but it would be cheaper for the owner of the sell the Nets and just buy the franchise rights to a Russian team.

Did you guys see the piece on the new Russian owner on 60 minutes last week. It was awesome!

That was a very interesting interview. He's going to change things that's for sure.

I wonder how PA feels about now being the 2nd richest owner in sports?

ABM, April Fools day was Thursday.

With how Canzano craps on Allen all the time and tries to incite people against him, I wouldn't be surprised if we were moved to Seattle.

Yah, because John Canzano has that much power, and Paul Allen wants to spend the insane amount of money that it would cost him to move AND the NBA wants to leave what has become an idea market for one they just basically said sucked shit.

Well, while it isn't real likely, don't be surprised...

I'm more interested in how Bill Gates feels about being the 2nd richest man in the world, behind Carlos Slim Helu and family.

But I'm more interested in finding out how Paul Allens networth (which is more) moved him to 2nd place on the list of owners.

btw, does anyone else look at the forbes list every so often and go "I've wasted my life. Here is the guy who made facebook, and he's worth 4 billion...wtf?"

Yes because Key Arena is a palace compared to the Rose Garden.

j/k

But as I'm sure you are well aware of there are huge financial penalties to PA if he were to move the Blazers. It would be far cheaper for him to sell the Blazers and then buy the franchise rights to put a new team in Seattle. If the voters were willing to pay for a new arena in Seattle he might be interested but he won't move the Blazers.

Well, while it isn't real likely, don't be surprised...

Also if PA were to move the Blazers that would leave him still owning the Rose Garden with no tenant for a minimum of 45 nights a year.

He would just sell the team and RG and start over with a new team and arena in Seattle.
