Chauncey AnteupsJeesh, it's staring us in the face. His nickname as a player was Mr Big Shot. So he could be Mr Big Slick or Mr Big Blind.

That's not a fact, that's your opinion.Fact, we just don't know if Billups was a dupe or aware. I guess a trial will tell
Yes or No: Do you know if Billups was aware or not? That's not a fact, that's your opinion.
The indictment itself is damning to Billups. Normally these don't go to trial.
Billups, Rozier, D Jones are all done with the NBA for life IMO. Hasn't been announced yet but it will be eventually. Billups has much bigger problems than his Blazers contract. He may be sentenced to prison for years, even decades.

Chauncey Billups fooled me, too, it appears. Why his shocking arrest cuts so deep
The somber image of Chauncey Billups at his hearing is in stark contrast to who he appeared to be during his time as coach in Portland.www.nytimes.com

For $50 I will tell you how @SlyPokerDog moderates posts. But I want the money up front and I want to warn you. The post might be taken down quickly.
Cheating is what is being done. Sly is how it's being done. They are not the same thing, but they are related.
If Chauncey knew it was rigged and knew what was going on and still went through with it, then F him in all honesty. Not the kind of PoS I would want mentoring our talented young squad. Thats some real scumbag stuff that went on, and if it is proven that Billups participated with knowledge of the details, I hope he gets the jail time he deserves.so....3000 calls recorded on wiretaps. That's a lot. I'd imagine the feds have Billups on some of those calls
I'm thinking that some of the unindicted co-conspirators, including Chauncey, could end up indicted if the feds bring a RICO case...and with the crime families involved, that seems probable?
I'd tend to agree that we don't know Chauncey's level of guilt with the Poker charges, although the indictment certainly implies the feds have a strong notion about his level of guilt. Again, more than 90% of charges when the FBI leads results in conviction
setting that aside, it seems clear that the feds, from a wiretap, have Chauncey calling, or at least talking, to a gambler about changes in Portland's injury situation. To me, that's a damning part of all this and a big reason why he's done in the NBA....imo
So you're saying Soros was running the poker games?!?!What if Chauncey only did this to secretly give money to ANTIFA?
You’d almost expect there to be some involvement in 3000 recorded calls, and if there is no involvement then I feel like that has to be good for something as well.so....3000 calls recorded on wiretaps. That's a lot. I'd imagine the feds have Billups on some of those calls

He was making plenty of money to do that without setting people up to lose at Poker. What if Chauncey only did this to secretly give money to ANTIFA?
This is perhaps the wildest part about it to me. He was set… He was established in the league as a player, and now as a coach. His future was far from grim.He was making plenty of money to do that without setting people up to lose at Poker.
I do agree all these people are done on NBA.
It’s got a long way to go, but this thread better not surpass the Melo thread, and if it does - Billups and Melo played together in Denver so TECHNICALLY this could be merged with the Melo thread.
with denny crane in the house, it be like "hold my beer"Billups is going to need NY based attornies with RICO experience.
