BREAKING NEWS: Explosion Rocks Finish Line @ Boston Marathon (4 Viewers)

OK, I'm being totally serious here (for once), where should our collective anger/rage be directed towards?

Anger about the act can't be responsibly directed until the perpetrator is revealed.

Anger at those who are openly using this tragedy to further their own treasonous goals can be directed as it occurs, which is all I'm doing.

Authorities have confirmed that the continuing police search of an apartment in Revere is part of the investigation into the explosions at the Boston Marathon, The Associated Press reports.

Massachusetts State Police have confirmed that a search warrant was served Monday night local time but provided no further details.

Everyone that keeps quoting Maris, and carrying on with him? If you care to interact and think he's serious, I guess, so be it, and go for it, for whatever reason. But don't continue to quote the moron so those of us who put him on ignore have to see what he's blabbering on about.
Ignorance is bliss, eh?

When I got an email today from my 69year old dad who was in Boston, his response:
"Good news is I'm fine,
Bad news is I didn't win"

Just a little bit of humor in the midst of tragedy

Fucking Westboro Baptist Church... when everyone was talking about this earlier, I was actually saying, "just a matter of time before we hear from the Westboro Baptist Church." Buncha assholes, and it pisses me off that they have "Baptist" in their name, so that every time they do something crazy like this, it's a negative reflection on an otherwise positive religion that they're an extremely radical sect of.

You know, the real tragedy of this are all of the children that have been hurt. It's bad enough that an eight year old is amongst the dead, but hearing that kids as young as three years old were severely injured and that ten children were taken to the children's hospital for serious wounds, really makes the situation that much more tragic.

Just read this thread......... I understand we all come from different backgrounds and upbringings. I understand how life experiences have shaped and molded you into who you are as a person.......... but some of you are fucking crazy! There were some posts in here that honestly makes me question if you are fucking insane? Today was an absolute tragedy, plain and simple. Whenever there is some tragedy, the nutjobs just come out. Some of you disgust me.

Sorry. It's the meds.

Did your assistant read this to you? Because we all know you can't read :)

I was watching the video... I wonder what makes people (more specifically women) scream. I understand the fight or flight reaction, that makes sense to me, but I've never understood screaming.

...I like this tweet much better!

Gotta love that if you're a Pats fan, and even more if you're not... let's hope he drops a shit ton of passes next year. Gives me another reason to hope Amemdola drops some passes...

Reminds me of when Scott Fujita, who is one of the greatest people to ever play the game of football, decided after winning Super Bowl XLIV as a Saint, he'd give his entire Super Bowl earnings to coastal restoration because he was leaving the Saints for a more lucrative deal in Cleveland.

BTW - Completely OT, especially in a thread like this, but I caught Fujita on Jim Rome earlier this week, and he had no problem telling it like it is and letting his candid, educated perspective fly. If I were ESPN, I'd be trying to get his digits now that he's out of the league...

Amendola has been one of the league leaders in caught passes per game (he seems to miss a lot). For some reason with a better QB then he has been working with I don't think he is going to drop many.

Oh yeah man, I know... the guy's a beast. As a diehard Saints fan though, I'm just saying that this is another reason to root for him to drop some passes as he tries to take over Welker's role.

Not that he will, but I'll definitely be hoping for it just a little bit more now. At least every time he does now, I can think, "not only did the Pats fuck that up, but there's another $200 to a good relief fund."

I may have missed this in the thread, but they have a little more on the 8 year old who died. His dad was running and just about to finish. The kid ran up to his dad to congratulate him and was on his way back to his mom when the bomb went off. He died, his sister lost a leg and the mom has brain damage. I cannot imagine being the father right now.

Mysterious man on a roof just before the second blast:
He could be involved, but I doubt it. If some big sporting event went past your building, would you go up top to get a good view? I would. In fact, not for a sporting event, but for parades I have gone atop a building downtown that I used to work at. I hate crowds, but like spectacle, so a roof or balcony is a good place to be.

this Family Guy clip is going around....i remember watching this from about a month ago. i think they're saying it was 2 different clips though....but kind of crazy. in the original version he won by driving his car and running over people. the other clip is him setting off bombs after he joined islam.

Espn says the "bombs" were pressure cookers filled with metal, nails and bb's

Most "experts" thinking it was a domestic attack.
