Paul Allen loved guards...he'd be thrilled with this era of Blazer ball....Jody is fine...I like that she's expressing herself...before people said she has no interest in the team but I don't believe that for a second....the Blazers have already made her a small fortune since Paul bought the franchise....she knows it'll increase in value over the years...few things have gained value as quickly considering the profit she'd make selling it today....I have no problem with Phil Knight buying the team but the narrative that Jody doesn't give a shit is pure bullshit to me and fan driven..not front office driven. Don't get the outrage. We're lucky to have an owner who's invested in the franchise and flush with cash...Paul trusted her with this and I will as well. I see a team that IS trying to get better, through moves, and the Draft. That is what we ask for. You say, they wouldn't overpay for OG and get mad. But as i've said, he is a inconsistent performer, and i doubt he would be different in PDX. Many of the moves we've wanted in the past, would have been terrible for the Blazers. Let the new guys do their jobs, and it might just be successful. Or continue to bitch and moan.
