BREAKING NEWS: KP Meet & Greet -- Do We Just Punt??

I'm now officially speechless.

From Jim Taylor:

Good lord, this has been one tough thing to schedule and it gets more challenging yet. So, here's the latest. KP has a meeting that is going to take him right up to 1 and probably more likely 1:30 PM. On top of that he has to leave for another meeting at 2 PM sharp. If he can get to Haydens before 1:30 PM he will, but I don't think we should count on it. And then as far as the PF tour goes, we'll need to start that immediately following the visit with KP. So tight I know, but we've just hit a hectic part of our schedule, so we very much appreciate all of your patience. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns.

What if we just go straight to the PF @ 1:00 to check in, have KP meet us there when he's able, then do the tour following that?

Wow, email him back, see if Penn is available. Sure, I think at this point it might be better to meet at the media room in the PF. What about Casey Holdah at noon @ Hayden's? At this late notice it would be nice if Jim Taylor would maybe provide some options.

It seems like PF tour at 1, meet up with KP whenever we can (even if it's for 1/2 an hour), then finish the PF tour (can we meet any players?), and maybe we could head out to lunch together afterward?

OK, we'll wing this one on Monday. As mentioned above, I've asked that we all meet directly at the PF @ 1 PM for a tour and, hopefully, some face time with KP. I'll keep everyone posted as much as I can....although, I will be on the road for much of the AM on Monday. (I've mentioned that fact to the Blazers and asked that they in some way confirm the latest plan ASAP. I even copied KP on that particular memo.)

Beyond that, in light of all the rigamarole we've been going through, once I'm able to meet with Jim Taylor in person, I'm gonna also ask for a KP M&G sometime during the regular season as suggested here.

We shall see.

What if instead of a long KP M&G (Seems increasingly unlikely) we got to watch the players play 5 on 5 a bit at the PF? I would gladly make that trade, maybe you can get Jim Taylor to agree to that. Seeing Oden swat Howard or really anyone live in practice would more then make up for not seeing KP for long IMHO. Just a thought, or they could give us tickets to games
